Would someone mind explaining to me how Tony's hair has ended up like this? Surely he can't be dying it some kind of grey, right? When it first went this colour I thought it was just a nasty side-effect of dyeing it. But what is going on in that bike photo?
Full bleach is low grade a lot to manage for a woman, forget a troon considering they rarely understand the basics of hair care. Like most hairdressers will say “are you 100% sure?” Because it takes commitment.

At the very minimum, it needs clarifying shampoo to get rid of metal/mineral deposits from tap water, plus moisture (bleach basically removes colour molecules in the hair shaft which is why it can look so dry/dull and that affects the porosity) and purple based shampoo to help tone (cancel) any yellowing/brassiness.

Upkeep then involves getting the roots touched up every 6-8 weeks, and a toner.

Zac posted this flattering one of Tony on his phone.

I have also greatly enjoyed Tony's insistence on keeping his shoulders covered so that no-one gets a peek of the ghost of his giant Reddit tattoo.

Also to mention, he bleached it in the first place to be able to get a purple (you have to bleach even if you have fair hair to get the vivid colours troons and poons love so much) colour and then the purple faded but it doesn't go away completely and so he ends up with this dishwater disaster.

Edit to add, bleaching your hair makes it more prone to breaking, you are literally stripping off everything that is in the hair, and I don't expect Gaptooth to go to a decent hairdresser who is careful about the bleaching process so his hair is probably very very brittle and dry. So I'm not surprised that the hair on the crown of his head is a lot thinner.

Since I'm fully committed to dying alone I'll never know, but is it normal to have a 3 week honey moon? That seems excessive, plus who's defending all the Montana twans folx while Zack is sunning it up in the Med. The people need you, Zachary!
Tony's sitting on a fat pile of "subscribe to support my work" money, it's not going to spend itself.

A monthly subscription is $5, and Substack takes 10%. Substack says Tony has "tens of thousands of paid subscribers" (on 123,000 total), but even if we low-ball it at exactly 10,000, that's still $45,000 a month, or $540,000 a year.

Substack's "US Politics leaderboard" puts Tony at number 21 (presumably by total subscribers), just a few spots down from Andrew Sullivan and Matt Yglesias. As much as I think Tony is an idiot, he has been very successful in growing his business.

Edit: Last time I checked (2 years ago, admittedly) he was still in the "thousands of subscribers" band:
Substack still shows Tony as having "thousands of paid subscribers", rather than "tens of thousands".

Okay. But that's not cheap either nor is it the cattle class they are most suited to.
From Zac's post, it sounds like they flew out of Nice. Washington Dulles is 9h 40m direct. Picking a future Sunday departure on a day Skyscanner said was cheapest, both United and Lufthansa business class would be over $11,000 total.

That is absolutely astonishing. I'm not surprised idiots would pay to support his grift, but I never would have dreamed so many people would pay Tony of all people to keep hearing him completely misrepresent every story he talks about.

Your telling me that he voluntarily keeps the prize winning smile from the great British book of smiles when he has the means to resolve it?

I am rewatching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 1 and there is something about Hermione Granger turning into Harry that reminds me of something or someone but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Uncanny! Here's the clip.
