$ (ETH) Ethereum - ETH and the Ethereum Project General Discussion

Time to suck it up and buy the dip I guess.

I got burned trying to cash out and reinvest earlier this year so I didn’t sell high on this last run. Kicking myself, because there was a lot of money to be made if the price recovers, which it likely will long term.

I’m still not even close to losing the money I’ve put in, but it hurts to see the number go down.

The only two things you will ever regret are not buying more, and as Tour of Italy says, maybe not profiting off of a sudden dip. Otherwise, invest wisely basically, and if you believe in internet 3.0 or see even the vague potential smart contracting has on the internet, you will realize it will bounce back quite easily in terms of value.

Also, not the first dip that's ever happened.

Yeahhhhh fuck. -41% within the last 7d. Shit better bounce back.
It will, but not any time soon. I hate to say it but the ETH network needs Jannies. It is so intensely frustrating to see meaningful projects get hamstrung by a clogged network of dog coins. This alone is probably going to bring in the regulators and or government.

Even with ETH retracing it's still in way better shape compared to BTC if you bought both at the same time. It may have fallen a higher percentage than BTC during this drop but it still hasn't erased all the gains it made recently.
This drop is the harbinger of the realignment. ETH is going to replace BTC as the "the" crypto I think.

The Bulk of my ETH buys back in March did the job. Just turned the key in the lock of a house I now own tonight. Feels good man. Never spent thousands of dollars in a single day before, but damn it was worth it. 70% of my portfolio is now toast though, but its just a conversion! Crypto to Property. Time to reaccumulate!
