The reaction shit has always been a house of cards that would never hold up in court anyways. I don't see how anyone could argue in good faith that what shitters like Asmongold does is transformative.
In all fairness, while I don't know about these broads, but whenever Asmongold makes one of these videos, their duration is usually at least 2x of the original because of his commentary (however retarded it might be is beside the point), so he generally has a solid argument for it being transformative and thus fair use

This isn't a normal case of copyright. It was literally a trap, a crafty Jewish trap! And these bitches fell for it immediately, because they're that lame. But also because who sets a trap?! Can we not put politics aside for a minute and appreciate how psychotic and funny it is that he did this?
It's also extremely satisfying, these two haram skanks have been so smug lately, despite being ignored by Hasan in public and ruining Anisa's husband's event. Nobody would even know who they were if it weren't for that humiliation ritual dance they did in Anisa's husband's video. They must suffer, Jewishly.

I think original content creators should be allowed to claim their content and take the ad revenue from the views of the lazy reactors channel.

However... They can only claim a percent of the revenue based on how much of the original content was played. XQC watches 30 minutes of Mark Rober on a 60 minute stream,? Mark gets 50% of XQCs money generated from that stream.

I think this should also apply to people playing say Disney content where currently Disney claims a whole video based on a tiny clip that was played. They can only claim a percent of the revenue instead of the entire thing.

Blah
The kike side of me is going to say this is a bad idea. The reaction video wouldn't be possible in the first place if it wasn't for the existence of the original video itself, so it should be more than the playtime used. You are stil growing and using other peoples work for your own brand/"clout", it's not fair to just pay the minutes played and call it a day.

I know this site have seen the censorship abuse part of copyright. Since most users on this site is used to low effort content (Internet slop) that isn't a "loss" if people steal it, many users don't know how it is to invest money and time on a bigger production, only to have Internet leeches stealing it. Copyright is an monetization tool, due to how the Internet works it's now outdated. Due to redditors (even KF users) they want to make this problem worse instead.

I want less slop. Tweak copyright laws to incentivise creativity and punish react channels more, fuck over the payment processors.

What's really interesting about all of this is how you can tell how much vitriol these people have for non-radical leftists. You hear the same thing from people in the alt-right, they really fucking hate less radical right-wingers. It's like they see them as traitors. "Sure the commies/nazis are bad, everyone here knows that, but you know who's really fucking evil? The traitors. Ethan Klein betrayed us by being pro-Israel. He's so much worse"

You can even see it in this thread. People sperging out about "supporting a Jew". They're mad because you're a traitor for not hating the Jew. "Sure the commies are bad, but how fucking dare you betray me and our movement by supporting that Jew".

It's the same kind of thinking. Shame they can't see it.
People seem to forget that there's already been a bit of a precedent set for what constitutes transformative content in the Youtube sphere, at least in the sense of the kind of effort required to make it transformative, that being Akilah Obviously Vs Sargon of Akkad. If Ethan wins this case, it would amuse me immensely to see Ethan & Sargon - two people from opposite sides of the political spectrum - becoming two of the four proverbial horsemen of the apocalypse for react streamers, especially considering thats where they both got their start.

I like whenever something like this comes up, it twists up the kikesperging A&Niggers into pretzels because of how much they just can't stand the heckin kikerinos. To any A&Nigger: what Ethan is doing is funny, that's why people are laughing at it or ironically cheering him on. It's really that simple.
I hate "react streamers".
I hate leftoids.
I hate people who support terrorists.
simple as.

So in this one case, I'll cheer the jew going full Oye Gevalt on their asses and laugh about it.

Asmon's a grifter too but he's smart enough to not do chair reacts. He occasionally pauses the video and actually speaks.
My theory is that only e-thots are getting rocked because they are just as retarded as the dudes, but unlike a dude as moderately attractive white-ish women from well off families the concept of "serious consequences for their actions" is a wholly alien concept. Thus you have these retarded bints straight up admitting their intent without even adding "in minecraft".

Tiny and Asmon put in the minimal ammount of effort to not make a case against them a slam dunk.

That's true. But I think as an initial step to at least give credit financially back to the original creator.

This is just my feels: I think the biggest complaints about react content come from already somewhat established content creators. They're the ones who often do YouTube for an (okay) living and depend on their videos hitting a certain level of views each time to make their dollars. Giving money back to then from the react lazies would prob be okay with them. The other side of the spectrum is the original creators who don't have any major channel following, don't do this for a living, and it's just by wild chance a popular lazy react steamer grabbed their content. I think those people are just happy to be seen.

With all the AI systems in place that can identify exact time codes of copyright material in videos, there is no doubt YouTube and Twitch can make a good faith step to help out original creators. No need to get the law involved. However... We know how much twitch protects their top paypigs.

Edit: I feel for the original creators. Just _editing_ raw footage is time consuming as fuck. Not even mentioning script writing, effects, titles and callouts, adding clips (good faith fair use), audio syncing and editing... God forbid you're a channel that uses animation because that's a whole other level of time commitment.

Once upon a time, someone got frivolously sued for copyright infringement by someone they criticized on YouTube.
They were shook. They were flabbergasted at the realization of how much emotional distress and financial damages a single frivolous lawsuit could cause. They saw it as extremely unfair and malicious. They cried. And only through the help and support of charitable people could they have sailed through that without having severe emotional breakdowns.

Seems like the lesson they learned from this is that frivolous lawsuits are great, they're a wonderful weapon to injure others. Just post a Destiny manifesto into the court's docket that doesn't even state a claim properly and the other party will be forced to spend thousands just to handle it and it might take months if not a year or more for them to get the restitution for the damage the frivolous suit caused, if they can get back anything at all.

"Ethan is using Lawfare, isn't that so frickin based? I love when rich Jews use the legal system as a cudgel over a dispute they don't actually care about the principal of and soley want to use it to bankrupt and ruin the lives of people so long as it's people I dislike"

Like I said, niggerbrained instant gratification, with no reflection on what knock on effects the normalization and celebration of this kind of casual application of lawfare could have, all from people on a forum that's been in similar financial and legal precarity for years no less.
Our opposition is tearing at each others throats and you're moping? What is this nigga doing?!?

And just like that, Kiwifarms becomes pro-copyright overnight. Ethan's jewish sorcery is unmatched.

But for real, if you support this, you're a gay.
It's not about being pro-copyright; I don't care what one would have to use to knock the Hasan circle down a notch. As long as it gets the job done, provides some luls and maybe some fake or real tears, I'm good with it because of who is involved and not why they're involved.

The redditors around those terrorist loving faggots and anisas creator clash are so insufferable, I hope h3 will destroy all of them with his jewish magic.
Reddit has made me realize that no matter how wrong someone can be or how hateable someone is, there will always be cult-like echochambers defending them. I can't believe that there's people out there who still like and defend idubbbz.
