These are tensions relating to the Gunt against people he’s not overtly beefing with currently but said people have thrown slights at Ralph (e.g. Dick and Fuentes)

Why? Jeremy Dale Hambly is nothing if not an opportunist and the second he knows popular opinion is solidly against someone, it's an easy win. I knew after Jim made Ethan a'holler that Quarterpounder was just biding his time.

And luckily for him, Ralph is so driven by rage the second the next person takes a jab at him, he'll lose any interested in Hambo and effectively hand him a W. There's no downside in attacking Ralph at this point.
