The guy Ralph is responding to in the second tweet is 100% right. The only people using alternative sites like Rumble are a small handful of fringe weirdos like himself and boomer MAGA dads. To really be successful and not just a cult personality you need to be on major platforms. Best example being Stefan Molyneux went from having a million subs on Youtube to being absolutely unpersoned once he was banned from Youtube. When was the last time you even heard that name?

I do a podcast and we're on youtube and Rumble. Youtube recommends our podcast from anywhere to 100 people to 10k. Rumble doesn't show these stats, but every single podcast I post on Rumble only gets like 20 views in the first hour and then is completely dead. Rumble doesn't recommend videos to people like youtube does. Also, 90% of our Rumble subscribers are bots. Every video gets 1 or 2 people/organizations that subscribe to the channel and post a comment telling you to use their service to promote your video.

Rumble is in fact completely useless unless you already have an audience that will follow you.

Rumble’s website sucks but their app is even worse. They only also “recommend“ shows that they have contracts with like Barstool and Quartering. The only good thing about Rumble is that you can rewind during a live stream but it’s clunky as hell. They also have double ads now on every video and it’s often the same ad twice.

Kick is doing so well because channels have a shot of getting on the front page if they get enough organic viewers or even if they don’t because I often see streams with 20 people being recommended. and it loads quickly and it is intuitive to navigate.

Kick is built to make money and keep people watching like Twitch but it’s not pozzed and there’s no ads, Rumble is built like a poor functioning archive like bitchute. Rumble does not seem sustainable long term despite the big money backing it. If the current owners were smart they’d be working on a plan to pawn the company off on investors.
