This is what he's mad about, I assume. Oh hey guess what this came out about ten years before the pride flag was a thing.
I don't get it, this is literally describing Noah's Ark, so how can Christianity stole from itself?

Anyway, euphoric atheist's logic has never make sense.

I wonder how they'd react if a christian burnt a copy of The God Delusion.
I hope no christian does that. Any theist/christian that gets triggered over a book and burn them is equally retarded.

Recently, a new Gallup poll shows that belief in God among Americans has dropped to 81%, down 6 points since 2017.

Of coarse, euphorics are taking the opportunity to jerk off about it.

Cross/Crucifix: A reminder of the Sacrifice of Jesus for all of mankind
Fish: A symbol used by early Christians in secret during the persecutions of various Roman emperors
Upside down Cross: Despite popular belief, this cross represents St. Peter believing he wasn't worthy to die like Jesus, hence why it's sometimes referred to as the Petrine Cross.
X-shaped Cross: Similar story to the Upside down Cross, except it's Saint Andrew who's being crucified.
Chi-Ro: The first two letters in "Χριστός" which is Greek for Christ. Most notable during the Battle of Milvian Bridge when Constantine was told by God to put it on his men's shields and he will win.

I can go on about the various symbols in Christianity that have distinct meanings but y'all probably get the jist of it by now. Also as for myth and culture, the whole "Christ myth theory" has pretty much been disregarded as a fringe theory by academia and only people like Richard Carrier keep true to the Christ myth at this point. Culturally speaking, Christianity has pretty much help define Western Culture and anyone who denies this are ignorant at best. This man has no idea of anything outside of "Christianity bad".

Euphorics are truly the biggest lolcows of religion, even bigger than Mormons and Scientologists.

Richard Carrier is a really strange character and a lolcow in his own right. He's mostly viewed as a laughing-stock by everyone who would argue with him, but he produces some of the worst and most motivated takes on history and religion that you can get. He's Dawkins-brand fedora atheism distilled down to its very essence.

At one point he tried to argue that God couldn't exist because there were multiple universes. His argument to prove multiple universes? "They could exist, so they must."

Ever just been so atheistic you loop back into having blind faith in the unknowable?

IIRC there was an Egyptian story with some parallels to the Jewish flood story. But in that story it was a bow (the weapon) that was used as the symbol, not the rainbow that the jews and Christians use.

Euphorics logic is based solely on EGO.

Slight powerlevel, if you think they are going to get amazed and change their mind when you've shown them concrete objective evidence, you are going to be disappointed.... like i did.

I used to get excited by the prospect of religiosity declining. Then I figured out that most people are subhuman levels of fucking retarded and need to have their behavior controlled through some means otherwise they lose their shit and start gloming onto even more harmful bullshit like wokeism.
Islam is for goddamn inbred rape barbarians, Judaism is basically the original ethnic Nazism, the only one of these monotheistic religions with more positives than negatives is Christianity.

To be fair, all religion should be considered retarded, the only purpose for anyone to follow any religion is that because it's true, hence the TRUTH.

Worshipping anything less than true is retarded, which is why atheism is retarded. As for how to find out which is true, you have to be willing to seek that understanding yourself, not waiting for the answer to drop on your lap. (you can try studying on christian apologetics, but i have no time to discuss it further)

Even apostle Paul said as much starting on 1 Cor 15:29 "Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead?.....we shall then eat drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die"
In today's retarded language: "If Jesus didn't really die and get resurrected, then he is no god and why the fuck should any of you trust him, might as well party because you can die anytime and none will be going to heaven like he said"

I am Christian and thus might sound biased with Christianity, but if any of you here worshipping another religion has truly seeked "understanding" and found that religion to be "true", then go with it. But if you follow any religion cos you just "believe" and it sounded good, then you are also retarded.

The dove and rainbow as Christian symbols are literally millennia old.
Yeah I'm just talking about that specific coat of arms though, since this seemed to make everyone mad (LGBTQ+ people accusing Christians of appropriating the pride flag, tradcaths accusing Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia of...appropriating the pride flag.) It was the dumbest shit I've ever seen.

I mean euphorics logic only extends to their basement
I wish I could find the Reddit post on /r/worldnews where an article said Africans (think it might have been Nigeriens) were praying to God for more rain and the comments were like "LOL THERE IS NO GOD." Bruh they're all starving to death because their crops failed due to a long-lasting drought and this is really where you go?

It's just some deep-seated hatred of being dragged out of your basement by your daddy because he wants to take you to church and fix your life, and now you have to complain loudly on Reddit whenever anyone mentions the dreaded G-word.

I mean look at this face and tell me this ain't a lolcow-worthy face.

Guy looks like he does some of that good shit they sell at the Shell station. Probably why his takes are so far-stretched with his "Jesus was based off of other gods". When you actually read the myths of the various pagan gods that Jesus was supposedly based off of, this theory falls apart faster than the Falcons in the 4th quarter of Super Bowl 51. Sometimes I wonder if Carrier actually took the time to read the myths while sober or without Dorothy Murdock's input.

Also the whole "God can't exist due to the multiverse" is a bit dumb once you think about it. Since God is infinite, ie something that we can not comprehend and infinite essentially meaning "limitless", what's stopping him from having control over multiple universes? Sounds like a no-brainer but this is euphoric atheism we're talking here so anything that involves logical explanation of a higher power is thrown out the window.

Ever just been so atheistic you loop back into having blind faith in the unknowable?
You thought the "I Fucking Love Science" crowd was just a meme? It's all too real, Jack. Funny how they reject the worship of higher powers only to replace that with the worship of "science". Not the process of science like how the Scientific Method says, but the aesthetic of science. They don't have time for petty things like "research" and "hypothesis", just articles from pop sci magazines and quotes from people like Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Carl Sagan.

Don't tell them that many great men of science also were men of faith. Even Einstein said there was a possibility of God existing.

Yeah, I think most of us here thought religion was a load of bullshit. The difference between us and euphorics is that we grew out of that phase, and if not coming to religion, at least having respect for it. While euphorics still dwelled in that adolescent mindset, becoming even more childish in the process. Not saying it's true for all of us but I bet a great deal of people here can agree.

The idea of them worshipping science and not higher being because at the core of their beliefs is EGO. With science, they still subconsciously believe that they are at the top of intelligence for sentient being.
That's why they can still believe in buddhism, karma, multiverse etc, because those beliefs still center around them being the most intelligent living being in existence.

Not believing in specific God like jesus somewhat makes a little sense as it requires you to seek and learn specifically about him. But believing that the universe simply pooped out of existence without a mind, without truth and without intelligence, and somehow in the middle of the timeline "YOU, a being of utmost intelligence appears out of nowhere", is retarded.

Only life can beget life, there isn't a single evidence ever since the beginning of time that has proven otherwise. It shows then, there must be a source of life and truth where everything starts from. And if truth is eternal, and the source of all knowledge & wisdom, then truth certainly possesses more life than our mere existence.

Personally, I find the whole Lovecraftian idea more palatable than just about any other ethos.
