Actually, outside of movies, many scientists rarely wear the iconic white lab coats on the job. That is, while chemists and biologists wear them when handling aggressive substances, in the physics department they are usually not found.

It's funny because the first scientists were very religious men. Hell the famous "God of the gaps" fallacy creator was a baptist pastor (I know he was a baptist). Also worth noting is that there are still nobel peace prize winning scientists that Christian and religious. Taki magazine's Scott Locklin (an atheist himself) has some great articles on this stuff. I recommend this, this, and this.

But then they wouldn't have that dead horse to beat over and over again and feel smarter than they really are, and they can't have that. They have be able to chimp violently when someone says god bless you when you sneeze since if they don't have that, they won't have anything in life to talk about or serve as an excuse for their shit behavior.

And they'd have to acknowledge that, while many scientists are atheists, being an anthiest does not make you a scientist, as evidenced by the fact that most Euphorics couldn't science their way out of a baking soda volcano.

About the idea of religions being fairy tales, have these guys even heard of folklore/mythology before? In fact, a lot of folklore and mythology acts as somewhat of a science that explains why things are the way they are.
