These fucking people. They lash out at anyone inoffensively expressing their faith, attack figures like Mother Teresa & Gandhi (on live tv no less) and strive to remove anything vaguely religious from the public space up-to and including a memorial to those who died in WW1!!! And then they wonder why they’re “one of the most hated groups in America”. This is definitely one of the few cases where the “bigotry” they face is almost-entirely self-inflicted.

That reminds of this https://ffrf.org/news/news-releases...from-ohio-public-school-after-ffrf-intervenes
So they basically ordered a school to take down a historical flag because it had the word heaven in it also because it’s associated with a Christian group uses it. Like could they not do any research before doing this shit

I mean most of these euphoric atheist's are well to be frank really bitter, angry, and resentful people. I mean they get off on destroying things people like not worship because to them it's about controlling people. If you think about it if alot of these euphoric atheist's ever got into Austrian painter levels of power there would no doubt be a very bloody genocide that would result.

At risk of sounding extra-fundamentalist, I genuinely believe the FFRF to be evil. They target any reference to Christianity in public, and work to make it all-but-illegal to be openly religious. I'm happy they usually get laughed out of court, because they honestly feel like they are waiting for the opportunity to burn churches down with their congregations trapped inside.

Little wonder no one wants an atheist president.

That in turn kinda reminds me of this little debacle from years ago which also coincidentally had the FFRF’s involvement;https://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/27/us/rhode-island-city-enraged-over-school-prayer-lawsuit.html

The FFRF's prominent figure looks like a corrupt politician from a B-Movie

How fitting.

Also, does anyone know what became of Openly Secular? Or the reason rallys? Are they still going on?
Judging by the date of the article, if they are no longer going on, I would say they probably split up sometime after the athiest+ and other sjw movements from that time , really divided the online atheist, and i dont think they ever really 100 percent recovered tbh.

And not to steer things to far away. but it seems a lot of the euphoric atheist I see online when these days when I lurk on twitter, Fb, ect.. are black zoomers, Usually being very nerdy obese nerds similar to the fedora tippers of old. And the other groups being the troons and other alphabet people in the black community, and the last group being the septum piecing sjw females with the white boyfriend. Im not saying the stereotypical amazing atheist style white fedora tippers don't exist anymore. It just seems these day the black zoomer troon/sjw is largest group I tend to see online these days. But this could be just from what I see online though.

Makes sense. So much for wiping out “atheophobia”.

Well I looked up the girl behind the debacle, Jessica Ahlquist (T;DR she got peeved at a prayer banner hanging up in her school and stirred up a shitstorm to get it removed. She supposedly received harassment & death threats over it, but much like a certain feminist “critic” from around the same time, I have a feeling she made-up or at least exaggerated most of it for sympathy points)

and it seems she’s transitioned into a textbook Social Justice Warrior if these anti-Rittenhouse tweets are anything to go by

I’m sure there’s some pro-BLM/pro-antifa tweets as well somewhere down the line. I guess what many kiwis are saying is right. Atheism (or at least euphoric New Atheism) is a gateway to this shit.

It used to be men because, for a lot of evolutionary and social reasons, men are just more prone to disrupt cultural mores that they dislike. After protesting something is proven to be more or less safe (we have Hollywood actors and comedians calling themselves hard atheists now, atheists might be considered annoying but it's not social suicide anymore), women start getting in on it.

Trannies were probably always likely to be atheists because trannies are just men.

I've noticed the uptick in black atheists too. It's probably just the other side of the same coin of white people picking up on old black trends that black people are tired of, which is so common nobody really questions it. Every group is a late adopter of something.

I Know I sperg about my religion a lot, but a decade ago when I was just finishing high school, I use to be an atheist at that time. My school had a sizeable black population, while they never threaten me and showed anger to me when I told them I was an atheist, you can tell the idea of someone not believing in god was foreign to them.
I think what really happened in the last decade or so the black chruch really declined it can even be felt in politics during Obama's first campaign stopping at chruchs played a huge roll now they never come up. And I think that really became noticable when blm became a thing. The movement had nothing to do with the black chruch at all unlike social movements in the black community in the past, but is often anti religion in general.

Like it boggles my mind that people Believed this crap and still do along with people who are accredited scientists ( Richard Dawkins) . They either have a fourth grade level understanding of history , have dogmatic belief in it due to their euphoricness, believe in some insane conspiracy theory , or maybe there just spewing shit made up by a guy (Richard Dawkins)using his scientific background of “logic and reasoning ” to justify his shitty argument. And make idiots feel smart
With the Crusades, I wouldn't be surprised if those sticking with the religion angle didn't think further over the causes of war or were too busy in the tard ass fights one could have over religion within the internet.

the people who don’t think farther or don’t question the argument are probably same people who think being an atheist automatically makes them smarter than everyone else and makes them an expert on science or they know or think it’s bs but don’t question it because they will take it as an attack and excommunicate them from the group . I hope someone here can find a video from a dumb euphoric trying to justify this bs I unironically or at least an article ,meme or something

Besides, if you wanna go that angle with the crusades, you got a better case with using the Rhineland massacre or the much later sackings of Languedoc and Beziers. They rarely do though.
