Does anyone know if any euphorics have complained about the new Doctor Strange movie for embracing metaphysics and spirituality, and thus "supporting delusion"?

Probably not. They don't seem to get very triggered by fantasy popular media.

Over the years I've ran into a couple who want to get rid of fantasy and soft sci-fi because of the "supporting delusion" thing - and get rid of figurative/poetic speech because of its "lack of precision," and the Invisible Pink Unicorn (because unicorns aren't real) and so on, for the same reason - but they're few and far between. I think even most euphorics have a limit.

That always talk about how aggressive and obsessive religion is, but I've had way more of my atheist friends try to convert me to Reddit than I've had religious friends convert me to their religion.

I was talking to an atheist friend of mine, and I asked him how he felt when people, in all earnestness, told him they'd pray for him.
And what he said, in my opinion, was the best thing I've heard about it: "I don't believe in that sort of stuff, but the fact that they are calling on the highest, most powerful being they believe in for my safety is pretty touching."
That's a good attitude to have about that sort of thing, I think. Unless the people are being condescending ("I'll pray you see the light!" etc.), then they can go fuck themselves.

I'm on my cell right now so I can't hunt for links, but I remember some drama a few years ago regarding the 9/11 Memorial. Several religious symbols (or it could have just been a cross, I can't remember) were displayed. Some atheist organization got triggered, saying that atheists died in the attack and there shouldn't be religious symbols at the memorial. Now, that wouldn't be too bad... except that they also demanded that a red A (the unofficial symbol of atheism) be displayed. Not with the religious symbols, instead of them. I'm sure all of the atheists who were murdered and their families deeply appreciate a bunch of fedoras acting out like that.
No, because that would mean giving up the opportunity to assert how smart and enlightened they are. Normal atheists/agnostics have the decency to say something like "You'll be in my thoughts" or "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help" when they can't offer prayers. Euphorics think that using an opportunity to bash prayer is more important than offering comfort to someone who needs it.
I'm assuming he thought they were Muslims, lol.

Aside from Galileo, religion has been pretty big into funding scientific research. Lots of ideas about ophthalmology come from the golden age of Islam.
