After seeing the "curse Vishnu/Mohammad or you're a filthy pajeet" ritual online made me think we should also do something like that to redditor atheists.

"Oh you're an enlightened atheist? Criticize the Jewish and Muslim faith then or you're a low IQ poser"
It might not work but at least it will show that majority of westoid atheists are just anti-christianity.

I want to say an argument like this was shared many pages before this, but this has always been a problem I have with atheism. If our brains are nothing but "chemical reactions" and there is no "free will" why should I trust anything you say? This argument in general is self defeating because you're basically admitting that you yourself are an NPC driven by a chemical reaction in your brain.

I still believe it is a philosophical issue - but you highlighted the other problem correctly: Spiritually unfulfilled people seek to have something as the center point of their life, even if they are unable to follow through with it; thus superficially follow a life style (Religion, in this case (Christianity)) or try to speak on matters they are not involved with (politics). The main point is that people in particular do not gain any improvement from such affiliations, since they do not try to even understand what they are doing. Most things you included are only personality traits, if a person fundamentally misunderstands them.

I think this is one of the reasons atheists are miserable - they focus purely on the physical aspect of life, while the human mind is capable of processing metaphysics; They try to carve their soul out, which ends up in fanatical belief in whatever their preferred political or scientific dogma suggests.
I think you misunderstand atheism entirely. I am an atheist - though was once deeply religious. I do admire your ability to be religious, it brings with it a euphoria and a sense of purpose that is undeniable. However, atheism has its own rewards also. There are plenty of miserable people out there that are religious and non-religious, and there are plenty of people out there who are happy that are non-religious and religious.

We do not concentrate "on the purely physical" aspect of life and frankly, I am not sure what that even means. Science doesn't have a dogma, it has a methodology, but not a dogma.

Well thats when you realise most "atheists" are just jews trying to subvert the christian faith.

However, atheism has its own rewards also.
It literally has no rewards. The same "euphoric" horseshit that is presumed of the religious comes with atheism, that's why this thread exists. But the moral burden and consequences are absolutely ignored or written off under some vague humanitarian values that are absolutely of religious origins.
There are plenty of miserable people out there that are religious and non-religious, and there are plenty of people out there who are happy that are non-religious and religious.
And one side deals with the physical misery by believing in something otherworldly and of ultimate purpose, while the other has literally nothing. You can argue about the truth of this otherworldly purpose existance, but atheists literaly have nothing. At the very best they can have temporary goals to strive for and that's great, but ultimately it's just an ego trip that only functions for people who aren't that miserable to begin with.
Miserable religious people can have existential crises that would make an atheist kill themselves twelve times over, but it's the belief in the unknowable supernatural and its real, physical manifestations in an individuals life that keeps the religious going no matter what.
We do not concentrate "on the purely physical" aspect of life
Then you're not an atheist by the broad definition. That shit is bound and tied to materialism and in large part determinism.
Science doesn't have a dogma, it has a methodology, but not a dogma.
It absolutely becomes dogma if you just write off any other "methodology" that does not roll with physical sciences. Atheist does have its advantage where it is capable of expanding its ideas in logic and reason, but these things are not enough. There's a lot of shit in life that just doesn't make sense and these days The Science community in masses buy into ridiculous shit.

The Brief

    • A 26-year-old drifter was sentenced for making violent, political threats.
    • Isaac Sissel wanted to kill conservative Christians if Trump won the election.
    • The government also charged Sissel with a Hate Crimes Motivation enhancement which the Court applied
FOX 2 - A drifter who threatened to kill conservative Christians with an AR-15 known for going town to town and committing crimes was sentenced in federal court.
The backstory:

Isaac Sissel, 26, was sentenced to 30 months in prison on Monday, announced United States Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon.
According to court documents, in September 2024, Sissel created Reddit accounts with names like "ShootUpTrumpRally" and "PlanningToKillTrump."

On November 2, Sissel sent an anonymous tip to the FBI claiming that he would "carry out an attack against conservative Christian filth in the event Trump wins the election," and said that he had a "stolen AR-15."
Sissel sent his threat two days before President Trump’s campaign rally in Michigan, three days before the 2024 Presidential election.

The threat came four months after President Trump was shot at a campaign rally with an AR-style weapon in Butler, Pennsylvania in which political supporter Corey Comperatore was murdered.

"I shall carry out an attack against conservative Christian filth in the event Trump wins the election," he wrote on Nov.2. "I have a stolen AR15 and a target I refuse to name so I can continue to get away with my plans. Without a specific victim or ability to find the place I hid the gun, there's not a thing the FBI can do until I complete the attack."

Two days after the threat was received, authorities searched Sissel's room at a Travelodge in Canton. Sissel, who does not have a consistent address, was staying in the Ann Arbor and Canton area during election week, and he also had Washington and New York driver's licenses on him.

Sissel said that Trump should have been assassinated, adding that he wouldn't kill the former president, but if he knew someone was going to assassinate him, he wouldn't intervene.

He also said he enjoyed threatening conservative Christians, said he believed left-leaning political groups are not violent enough, said he harassed people at an Ann Arbor rehab clinic he often sleeps near, and said he would stab an officer if they disturbed him at night.

As a convicted felon, Sissel is prohibited from having firearms, but investigators say there is no evidence Sissel actually possessed a weapon, including an AR-15.
In April 2025, Sissel pleaded guilty to one count of transmitting threats in interstate commerce.

Sissel's sentence comes amid a surge of politically motivated violence and attacks on Christians.

Conservative Christian activist Charlie Kirk was murdered in a political assassination on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University.

Other incidents include a June when an attack at the Wayne CrossPointe Community Church was foiledby security, but other shootings were carried at out the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis on Sept. 1, and at the Grand Blanc Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Sunday.

"We live in evil times," U.S. Attorney Gorgon said. "Even in America, Christians are routinely targeted for death by violent extremists like this man. The First Amendment is a safeguard of religious liberty and free speech—and so it does not protect true threats that undermine religious liberty."
The government also charged Sissel with a Hate Crimes Motivation enhancement, meaning that he selected his victims because of their actual or perceived religion.
The Court agreed and applied the enhancement to Sissel’s sentence.

Acting Special Agent in Charge Reuben Coleman of the Detroit FBI Field Office said the 30-month sentence shows the FBI's "zero tolerance" for those who threaten Americans including those at the highest levels of government.

"This effort would not be possible without the crucial assistance of the United States Secret Service, University of Michigan Police Department, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office in apprehending Mr. Sissel and supporting this investigation," Coleman said. "I send my sincerest appreciation to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan for their successful prosecution."
