I'd correct the second statement with "If you do believe in God, pray for the poor delusional edgelords who repost this and think that one of the most common religious positions in the US and Europe, which is where most of them hail from, automatically makes them better than you and makes them special. Pray for them to learn humility and how not to embarrass themselves."

Because the real winner is the people laughing at this joke of a challenge.

Whoever made that meme apparently does not realize that most major Christian denominations, including the Roman Catholic Church (the largest of all Western Christian branches), accept that evolution is compatible with the Bible. This isn't the Victorian Age or even the 1920's when the Scopes Monkey Trials were going on. Times have changed.

Most Christians accept scientific facts, including evolution and climate change (the main reason why the GOP is big on denying climate change is not because of religion but because they get a lot of campaign money from energy companies who specialize in oil and coal).

The whole "Earth is only six thousand years old and dinosaurs walked with man in the Garden of Eden" bullshit is a fringe viewpoint within a small subset of Evangelical Christianity, and even then, most Evangelicals consider the hardcore Young Earth Creationists to be totally wacko these days.

This is why I think people like Kent Hovind and the late Jack Chick ultimately do more harm than good for the name of Christianity, because while they are a minority within one of the largest religions on Earth, they were such vocal loudmouths that they made themselves visible and gave ammunition to these euphoric atheist types.

I wouldn't call myself an observant Christian in the strictest sense, but I do have a lot of respect for Christianity from a cultural standpoint, and I honesty don't know who I cringe more at, the extreme right-wing fundamentalists or the fedora-tipping euphoric atheists.

Neither of them have really read or studied the Bible in depth, instead choosing to cherry pick select verses and quotes to support their agenda.

TL;DR Jack Chick and Christopher Hitchens were two sides of the same coin and both of them didn't know jack shit about the Bible or the Christian faith.

You should ask yourself why people over 10 still watch reaction videos in current year instead.
 
Anyone who says The Dark Ages, Crusades, and Witch Trials were all caused by Christianity is a moron who didn’t read history correctly.
-The Dark Ages cause came primarily from the Fall of Western Rome, which had multiple factors leading up to it. This collapse saw the formation of various kingdoms, all trying to form Order in their own views, this led to almost constant fighting, and the 100 year war between Spain and Britain. People were too focused on fighting themselves rather than actually doing something. Funnily enough, the Egyptians were a heavily religious society, and lasted for 3,000 years.
-The Crusades at the time they actually took place, were far more political, than they were religious. This same deal applies to The Pope at the time, more political than religious, and used his political status and twisted his religious views to get people to go “retake the Holy Land” and essentially get a free pass into Heaven, getting a lot of people who just wanted to kill for the fun of it, to go kill without feeling guilty about it.
-The Witch Trials only killed 7 people. They all were killed by hanging, and all because two brats said a Witch put a curse on them, and the town went nuts about being cursed. Even today, the town of Salem acknowledges that what their ancestors did was wrong.

Is it so bad then that the Fine Brothers figured if people wanted to record autism via reaction videos, they should pay for it? Penalties have to come in some time before they figure it out.
