Really? We're talking about a guy who made a movie about his atheism, brings up religion regularly now as well as made this cringeworthy picture. But to be frank, as much as I find the guy to be a pretentious prick, I don't find his rather egotistical anti-religious views to be as bad or as edgy as those of his buddy Kathy Griffin, now that bitch is bitchy. The worst Gervais did at an awards ceremony was say he thanked God he was an atheist (which is sort of humorous in an ironic sort of way) although he was still rather smug all around, while Kathy outright mocks religion and religious people every chance she gets while doing her best to come off as an unlikable cunt, with one of her worst antics being at an award show which even made non-religious people look bad and her mother ashamed beyond reason. Oddly enough, both have worked together a lot on the Muppets for some reason...I always knew Gervais was euphoric, but this kind of surprised me.
"spreading reason is a noble past time," it's stuff like this that make people think atheism is a religion. Can't wait for them to create atheist churches for reasons.Found this on one of the regular sources of lulz.

They technically already have. Someone even posted some pics and info of them a few pages back."spreading reason is a noble past time," it's stuff like this that make people think atheism is a religion. Can't wait for them to create atheist churches for reasons.
SJWism (especially gender crap) filled the psychological void religion left in the atheism community. Started with atheism plus.
Yeh, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Note that they are a pre-colonial church.
That’s what I like about Doug. He isn’t afraid to deal with these faggots.Doug Tennapel, guy behind Earthworm Jim, makes some post about religion or science and a euphoric pops in.

"We are all born atheist" and yet atheism is a taught behavior.

"It's a ridiculous excuse" he says to a guy that believes religion is hardwired as a natural behavior.

"You're a twisted person" he says because Tennapel made some joke to the abandoned dad comparison.

Nice to see non-offensive questions on Quora being answered with such high levels of smug and sass while ignoring religion's own contributions to music... Even the music section on the site is full of euphoria even when looking up non-religious subjects. Or ask about gods of music and instead get why Christians were un-creative with their "musical deities" while Allah gets nice nods of approval or indifference. Why does Islam always get a pass from fedoras despite still doing things they hate other religions for doing hundreds of years ago? I get the whole "Muslims are brown you racist" but it feels like there's more to it than that. As if they like Islam for also hating the same religions they hate, as in "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" kind of mentality.Thomas Dow said:No wonder fundamentalists religions are jealous of music and try to repress its power by linking it with Satan. It is a major rival and succeeds where religion fails.
Well there's my answer apparently. I guess its fine to let people become suicide bombers and do what they want because Muslims are defenseless and people are being too Islamophobic.Ernest W. Adams said:

Genesis 4:20-21 said:Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock. His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe.
Wow.Gotta love the right-wing KiwiFarms Jesus freaks, who think that criminalizing adult consensual same-sex sexual activity is totally equivalent to saying mean things on-line. Maybe if you talk enough shit about atheists, it'll make all the gay people you drove to suicide rise from the grave like your savior?
But I can't be a homophobe, I want people to load my pumpkinhole.Gotta love the right-wing KiwiFarms Jesus freaks, who think that criminalizing adult consensual same-sex sexual activity is totally equivalent to saying mean things on-line. I think it's because in textbooks (at least American ones) Islam is described as being tolerant of other religions, how despite keeping slaves for centuries longer than the west their slaves were treated better and somehow got paid, and islam gave women rights despite being forced to cover themselves up completely. Basically, while Christianity is enslaving people and shit, islam is just a lovey dovey peaceful religion (unless you're a hindu or some other polytheist religion in that case get fucked). Then there's the supposedly islamic golden age and how sweet the moors treated the jews. So it's the fact they've been taught that Islam is this peaceful tolerant religion while Christians have done nothing but evil apparently. Combine that with the fact they hardly dive deep into any religious text that isn't the bible and Islam is a dindu nuffin. That's my theory at least. (supposedly one islamic jurist said homosexuality is okay because he couldn't find homosexuality in the quran. I say supposedly because the Quran actually does mention homosexuals as being the sole reason Sodom and Gorrah got destroyed and not raping angels. That story sets off red flags for my bullshit detector.)https://www.quora.com/Why-is-Satan-considered-the-angel-of-music

Its a euphoria gold mine. Who knew?

Honestly? Islam is not really talked about in school textbooks; a ton more effort is put into talking about the ancient cultures from around the world (6th grade) and then the history of the Americas, focusing on the US (8th grade). The only period in time it might get talked about as well as other medieval states (around 7th grade) is taken up more with lessons on how our government works, civics, and other themes like geography, movement, and so on. Add that in with literacy lessons getting chucked in thanks to Common Core, and you really don't talk about the Muslims that much.I think it's because in textbooks (at least American ones) Islam is described as being tolerant of other religions, how despite keeping slaves for centuries longer than the west their slaves were treated better and somehow got paid, and islam gave women rights despite being forced to cover themselves up completely. Also, isn't music technically haram in Islam? And didn't Christianity help lay the foundations for music? Gregorian and Bzyantine chants are things too.
They don't know Islam is in general extremely restrictive about music do they?Or ask about gods of music and instead get why Christians were un-creative with their "musical deities" while Allah gets nice nods of approval or indifference. Why does Islam always get a pass from fedoras
In the pre-Common Core days, I was learning a good deal of American hsitory even before going into junior high. I recall it being world history during 7th and/or 8th grade, then having specific social studies classes in high school of different topics like current events, government or WWII.Honestly?
