Infected Euphoric atheists

This literally makes no sense. Goddamn my head hurts.
The really ironic part is that a lot of astrophysicists are believers who have their faith reinforced by the fine-tuning of the universe for life. Almost all of the most common arguments for reasonable faith come from or are bolstered by advanced science, as they once did in the time of Rationalism with Natural Theology.

Because science gets to show something like how vast the cosmos is. Meanwhile, people still beliving in a sky daddy is bad even though one could believe in God while appreciating how space looks from all the pictures.
The apparent uniformity of galaxies almost makes the case that there could be a god for them, really.

And in the event there's uniformity, I can only imagine that'll attract both fundamentalist and euphoric spergs that'll say this is either proof of the existence of a God one side believes and proof there can't be a god of any kind. Meanwhile, everyone else will be too busy admiring what we got of galaxies.

The uniformity would make sense, if the whole universe started out really, really small and really, really hot, and the only reason it's not fully uniform is because of quantum fluctuations caused in the very, very early universe, when it was small enough for them to matter. If it was less uniform, it's possible we would not exist, and if we did not exist, we can't see it not being uniform, so that's another argument.

Most of the real debate over the foundational structure of the universe is around the ultimate cause of it, because we know that our universe has a finite history. It began to be, at a point in the past that we can guesstimate the timeframe for, and anything that begins to exist has to have a cause.

Your thoughts?

How much compassion does this person hold?
I don't know how much but I can see how much dick is within them. I'll admit, shit like "thoughts and prayers" is hollow but honestly, making a hot take about "God shielded" and "God healed" may as well exceptional like some Flordia fundie woman thinking wearing a mask is unnatural because "it won't allow one to breathe in God's air."

Violate the first amendment.
I wouldn't say that. Most "churches" are 501(c)3 organizations that aren't supposed to have political opinions, but that's usually looked the other way when they say things that jibe with the Democratic party, like the Black churches.

Prayer helps those who pray as much as it does those for whom it is prayed for. It helps mentally. Inasmuch as the mind has power over the body, it may help physically. It's representative of those who share a faith community and helps those who pray and those who are prayed for draw strength and solace from each other.

But you don't need that when you have reddit, m'lady *tips fedora
