I think he gave up on that awhile ago.Thought he wasn't too keen on people knowing about him being Eva? Unless I'm mistaken or that's gone out the window a long time ago.

At this point, it`s obvious he doesn't give a shit any more.I cringed, uguu.

His emphasis. At this point in time, you can’t really “judge” Yandere Simulator, or determine whether or not it’s “fun”, because it’s not a game yet. As soon as a true rival is added to the game, Yandere Simulator can be fairly judged, and people will finally be able to determine whether or not it’s actually any fun, or worth playing.
At this point in time, you can’t critique Yandere Simulator’s gameplay, because there is none. As soon as the first official rival is added to the game, the gloves come off – it will be time to analyze, criticize, and scrutinize. Before that time comes, I have to make sure that Yandere Simulator’s game design and gameplay are solid.
Fuck you, Eva, I do what I waaaaant. There's a new dev blog about how since the aim of the game is to kill the rival and she's currectly indestructible, it's technically not a game and you can't criticise it.

There's also an "animated" video where the whole joke is she can't be killed.
Nintendo will go back to owning love hotels before that happens.Maybe you should get on implementing this shit, Eva, instead of bitching about it?

The main aspects of the gameplay and how the game generally functions have not seen much change as he has continued to add features, and I sincerely doubt that the addition of a killable rival will make that much of a difference. At this point in time, you can’t critique Yandere Simulator’s gameplay, because there is none. He is currently livestreaming himself making Yandere Simulator for anyone who is curious. Again, here is the link. http://evaxephon.com/stream/
Report him.Wait a minute. Does he do this often?
He is using Unity, right? Their ToS says you can't stream it.
Imagine the video for that one.Report him.![]()

Another amusing thing:
Considering how stingy he is with money, I highly doubt he is using the Pro version of Unity. And the ToS says you can't use the (free) Personal version to make more than 100K, and (this is the best part) you may not use assets you developed while using Personal when you are using Pro.
So, if he wants to make more than 100K with this simulator, he will have to remake the game from scratch.
So apparently killing people in a semi-free roaming schoolyard and level grinding don't count as gameplay mechanics? There's a new dev blog about how since the aim of the game is to kill the rival and she's currectly indestructible, it's technically not a game and you can't criticise it.

It makes no sense even if he was emulating anime. Isn't it common for that to happen? Who's going to randomly fall for senpai in the way he's describing it, in five days?So apparently killing people in a semi-free roaming schoolyard and level grinding don't count as gameplay mechanics?
BRA FUCKING VO, Eva. Way to contradict the game. Also, by that logic, the rival (not Konoka, apparently) clearly does jack shit entirely (no lines, no animations, no name, literally no importance aside from just stand behind a tree all day). Fuck, why can't this guy just include the idea of having multiple rivals going for Sempai's affection at the same time, and they're all against each other as well as the player?
Oh right, because that'd require effort.
That, and the fact that you can't kill the delinquents (or have one of the females become a rival), is kinda far fetched in and of itself (seriously, lead pipe vs chainsaw, who do you think would come out on top?)It makes no sense even if he was emulating anime. Isn't it common for that to happen? Who's going to randomly fall for senpai in the way he's describing it, in five days?
I would understand this mechanic if he was introducing even MORE rivals entering the school on top of the others to raise the difficulty, but to have the main mechanic be that the rival seduces him in five days? That's farfetched. Then again, delinquents randomly appearing and disappearing from the garbage has the same effect...
