LOL in the video he had "rough" timeline on how long each part should be in development.

Hasn't all of that realism stuff been thrown out of the window by now, what with the school being some weird bootleg version of the school from Kill la Kill?

The YouTubers that played it making it popular never took it seriously to begin with. Even the edgy YanSim fanbase that suck Alex's cock only use it as a setting to rp their "magical fairy powers escapism high school roleplay" because mommy and daddy said they were special.

He did the same shit for 3 years. How much longer must they suffer?
Forever. The only thing Alex ever wanted is to be famous. He said it in clear in chatlogs with MikeZ. Alex don't give a shit about games, and anything other -- he simply choose to do "vidiya" because he thought that it is the easiest way to become Famous Person. Like, take some assets, join them together with duct tape, and BOOM! you're Famous Videogame Developer. But something gone terribly wrong with that plan.

Also, Alex is not absolutely dumb, and he knows for sure that his game sux. So if he will ever release the game, it would be a disaster. Therefore Alex will never release anything, he will m.i.l.k. his fanbase to the latest possible drops.

Also, hi there. Long time reader, first time writing here.

p.s.: lol wordfilter.

You still are. Druelbozo and Epicmealdev are surprisingly stilled credited too (as of Jan 16 2019)

EpicMealDev is still on (relatively) good terms with YanDev. Druelbozo left for a job at a game development company that's worthy of his skills but also parted with YanDev on cordial terms (though YanDev tried to "bribe" him with $3500 to stay.

I thought Epicmealdev created Watashi no Mono to spite yandev? I seriously hope history doesn't repeat itself cos yandev created yansim to spite MikeZ

No, if that was the case, he wouldn't have "FAN GAME. ORIGINAL GAME BY YANDEREDEV" plastered at the bottom at the game. (Even though right know WnM can totally be it's own game)

Popped onto a YS tumblr and ended up finding this:

Supposedly Alex teased this in the Yandere Simulator discord yesterday.

Christ. Recently I was watching some YT videos and it really striked me that the main character doesn't really have a traumatic experience which caused her to become so insane, which is utter bullshit. At least try to give a reason why she's a crazy bitch. Guess Alex did watch loads of weeb stuff but not Mirai Nikki, which literally has the definition of a yandere.

This didn't get posted already?

Manipulating Students In Yandere Simulator

Gonna be honest, I actually kinda like the idea of getting out all these previous methods to every student, instead of it being scripted

Aaand he ruined it.

"How would someone who didn't see my videos know you could could use a wrench on the fountain?"

They'd discover it for themselves.

"How would they know you could unscrew the plug or whatever" (I kinda forgot what he said)

They wouldn't be idiots, and could figure it out.

I almost forgot about YanDev for a while...

Anyways, here's the lastest blog post:
https://yanderedev.wordpress.com/2019/02/01/manipulating-students-in-yandere-simulator/

Two new execution methods:
Poisoning and Electrocution

I'm actually pretty happy with the progress he's made. I wish it had been done a while ago but that's not really the point at the moment...for YanDev this was pretty good progress, and it's made some of the gameplay seem a little less awkward. I do wish he wouldn't hold the players hand so much with Info-Chan as she seems useful as a tutorial...he mentioned doing something like Persona 5 where you enter some special vision and the main character mutters to himself...if you really wanted to do that you could enter the "yandere vision" that she has but everyone forgets about and highlight certain objects then if your camera is directly facing the highlighted object you either hear her mutter something or a thought bubble appears giving a hint as to what to do. Info-Chan should really just be resorted to getting specific items and learning about students through taking their picture.

Also, I hope that there will be a reason to kill off background students other than the player wants to be on a murderous rampage. Maybe not all of the students, but at least a handful of them.

Am I the only person who thinks Info-chan system kills all the game's challenge and strategy making?
Unless there's an alternative route/game mode/achievement without using Info-chan.
But most of the strategies can be deducted by the player (except for the matchmaking, because it's too complex imho) or can be learned by trial and error.
