New blog post. There's official plushes now. They look like they were made out of carpet, are only available for 10 days, and cost $25.

Honestly, the only real gripe I have with these is the hair. It feels lazily tacked on, and it doesn't do a good job at replicating the in-game model's hair, especially for Oka (which is an odd choice considering that Osana and Amai are the rivals currently in development though I suppose it's because Oka is a fan favorite).

The rest of it is fine, I suppose, but sometimes the tiniest of details can turn off someone's interest in a plush. I get that humans are harder to make into plushies than, say, an animal or a Pokémon, but still.

In classic Alex fashion, of course he waits a year and a half after Raibaru's release to "admit" that he was wrong. Because if there's one thing our boy Alex will never do, it's admit that he was wrong unless it makes him look good in the eyes of the audience.

I find it very hard to believe he "realized" that Raibaru's concept was awful. It's far more likely that he just ignored all the criticism until he couldn't go any further without admitting to it.

Nah, I genuinely believed he realized he had a problem when he sat down to actually design this new girls patterns and realized he couldn't just create mecharaibaru without validating the critics making memes about exactly that, but his entire design of the rivals relied on someone granting them functional immortality from being stabbed around a corner.

Even in his merchandise Alex can't control his need to coom :lunacy:

Its genuinely fascinating how Alex has taken the Attention he could have gained from the demo, a one-time boost, and absolutely squandered it. He can't just release another demo and get the same response, he can't release a new rival and expect a response. His options are full release or a kickstarter, and his project is ready for neither, and is dead after a poor showing from either.

Guess its time to settle in for a long, boring four years of rival development with nothing of consequence to show for it.

Ok so I just actually watched the video, and A: His entire script and 'realizations' is basically exactly what I said back when I was addressing how garbage Raibaru was. But more importantly...

Alex isn't working on the next rival. He's actually back to Osana. Osana is no longer complete. He's back to square one.

We've unreleased Osana boys, we've done it.

Osana is Mahan's entire world and will probably cause him to troon out after two more years of staring at her face. Screencap this.

Great job Yandere Dev. It only took you...

Almost 7 months. This is not a fucking demo. It’s the same unbalanced development hell, but you can win it now. How. The. FUCK. DO PEOPLE STILL EXCUSE THIS BLATANT IRRESPONSIBILITY AND MISMANAGEMENT?
People love a train wreck. And returns on their investments.

Didn’t Alex say that Osana was the basis for the other rivals, the foundation the other rivals would be built on? How many more years and presidents is this development thing going to span?

He was never working on the next rival, he explicitly stated that would come after the Kickstarter, which isn't even planned until late 2021 by his own admission (archive), everything from August of last year up until now and well into the rest of the year is solely focused on fixing Osana.

It goes to show you how uncooked the demo was last year. Say what you want about Dr. Rapeis, he did what no other tard could, he put enough fear in Alex that he panicked and released an obviously unfinished demo and spent the past 7 months and beyond trying to make it playable.

So not only he reversed Raibaru back to non-threat to some degree, now he is working on Osana again... To be quite honest, if he released If n Else 2 I would be more surprised.

Not exactly. For some fucking reason he tried partially implementing a new rival. I mean, why would he need the gameplay for another rival, if he needs Osana to make a demo and launch Kickscam?

Okay, forget yesterday's extra large dose of art, this one is mega-huge! Sadly, some people think, that THIS is what fun is.

Guys, if you're reading this - be original, dammit! Anyone can create a burner account and spam contest with Alex's face, mods will delete it and things will go back to where they were(they already did, actually, since I made those screenshots yesterday).

But on a much more positive note, here is your obscenely large daily dose of art. Enjoy!
