So being a very important character, Nemesis has a character page too. And this is a part of her description:

Oh the suspense, oh the mystery and ow the edge, stop complicating this shitty story.

It's so obvious he writes all these descriptions himself because he has absolutely zero clue how to build suspense

"Is she a mystery? It's a mystery..."

if he can make people listen to your running why doens't this affect everyone but only her?
Likely because then he would have to have every student check for isRunning on their update methods.

YandereDev said:
I was trying to make a game where an anime girl stabs people. I thought I'd just work on it for about 8 months and then stop. I thought that the final game would only be about as deep as Mission Mode currently is.
YandereDev said:
If I was trying to make a masterpiece, I would have given the protagonist an actual personality and backstory. But, a masterpiece wasn't my goal at the beginning of the game's development.
And he also admits that he makes shit up on the spot which he hadn't originally planned to. Moments like these make me believe there would be hope for this man if he wasn't too deep into this shit and hadn't attracted the preteen-weeb-fujoshi fandom.

*rates self :optimistic:*

Why didn't he just put in no description at all? It's better than having a rambling description about the mystery of her.

Nemesis is just a rip off Hello Neighbour's Neighbour.
He seems to be trying to appeal to the people who left his meme game for Hello Neighbour.
Oh my god how did I not spot that? :story:
So not only has he found a way to shoehorn his sooper goffik OC into the game, he's ripped off an element from a game he was previously offended to be compared to and implemented it in a game style which is yet ANOTHER rip off of Hitman and tried to claim it's all original.
Wow Eva....you suck.

lol

That was my answer there. I can't prove it of course but it makes sense.

The main mode reputation and the mission mode AWARENESS go up/down by the same things, like laughing loud and walking around with a weapon. The main differences are:

Reputation
-Starts at 0. Goes from -1000 to +1000.
-Is pink
-Kinda useless if you don't care.

Awareness.
-Starts are zero. Goes from 0 to +100.
-Is black and white (JUST LIKE HITMAN)
-You lose if it hits 100.

Players started to point the camera in students faces to make them stop and pose, which in turn make them much easier to manipulate. He decided to "solve" this by adding a penalty for using the camera, so when you aim you get more awareness. (How does taking pictures of students make them more aware that you're a killer? Well, it doesn't. But Alex is too stupid to simply remove the camera/posing from mission mode i guess). I didn't test anything but that considering what the user said i think this change was also aplied to the main mode's Reputation.

The most logical answer would be: The Awareness meter is actually THE REPUTATION METER with a different numbers, color palette and working on reverse. I bet the main reason you can't talk to other students is because you would have the option to compliment them which would lose awareness. As Alex says in his blog post:

  • During Mission Mode, the player is no longer able to aim a camera at a student’s face to make them stand in one spot forever, because the Awareness meter will now quickly rise for every second that the player spends aiming their camera at a student.

Increasing awareness would be "equivalent" to losing reputation, so this change to mission mode carried over to main mode. Alex must have... I don't actually know he could've made a mistake like this. He MUST have either a super fucked up coding or simply forgot/didn't predict this would happen.

... You kinda gave away before that you're reservista, even more because of the portuguese ursaname lol

And yeah, Eva could've simply disabled the camera feature in mission mode, because there's no need to compliment, gossip or learn anything at all about the npc's in this mode. C'mon, the target is already highlighted by leYandereVision~, so there's no need to use the camera at all outside the story mode.

Exactly. Also having the camera just in the main mode would give players an incentive to play this one instead of Mission Mode. And he needs one because in the current state of the game the Mission Mode is superior to the regular game in so many aspects.

B...but...how are players meant to see Nemesis-chankunsama's panties without the camera? Thats the IMPORTANT feature here!!

On another thread i said Alex didn't mention something in his blog (about the awareness bug) and Weapon-Kun replied me with "yes he did" as if baiting me into a pointless argument. I am almost convinced it's a troll.

Edit: Oh look i was right...

Alex even said "lower reputation under mission mode" instead of "increase awareness". They're the same thing.

Phew, 309 pages of autism is a lot to get through.
I downloaded the latest build to see how much I could push it around and experienced a series of worsening bugs as I did so, which is hilarious given that I didn't even try some of the more complicated bug testing stuff I wanted to.

  • Killing one student bugged out the entire game to the point where I couldn't kill anyone else, talk to them, pick up items, or do anything but wait for the cops to come get me
  • Was unable to dig graves, even after joining the garden club (refreshed a few times to see if I could work it out, but nothing)
  • Throughout all this nonsense, I averaged 22fps which is more than I was expecting but the constant jump in framerates was jarring as hell. I have a decent computer, but I couldn't achieve anything close to steady. It'd jump to 60 fps and smooth out only for a student to walk past and everything to come crashing back down into the low 20s, sometimes dipping below that. Just, how do you think that's acceptable? Aim for consistency, not "I CAN hit 60fps, see gaiz?"

This is like:
(sees something bad) "that's gay"
(gets called out) "I'm not using it as an insult, I'm just equating bad things to being homosexual."

Even if the person was harassing him, since when does harassment=autism.

Don't you know anything? Only autistic people can harass people. That's it. Only autistics. Thus autism is bad and Eva is in the clear!

Oh man i just had a such a great laugh looking at that. I just love how Alex basically calls MLP and FNAF kids autists (like his fandom is much better lol) and somehow tries to look like HE is the one being reasonable.

"I was calling them retards, not as an insult but to make them stop acting like retards!"

:story:

By adding Nemesis he made the game even buggier; you have a chance of getting a target who is also your nemesis.
This means Eva didn't make nemesis just look like another girl, but rather, be that girl.
Fuckin dumb, since Nemesis spawns randomly.

"It's not a bug, it's a feature!"-Alex soon

... I kind of wish it was a real feature tho. As i said a few pages ago, hitman had some targets that were also assassins, i love the idea of hunting someone who hunts you back. Nemesis being your target (both by customizable random chance and by player choice) makes perfect sense and could be really fun but Alex is just too dumb to make it work.

As it is, the Nemesis will simply walk in a straight line towards you without any sense of strategy or stealth and stab your face in front of everyone. After she spots you, there is nothing you can do because she is hardcoded to run after you forever and instantly kill you just like the delinquents (Just like Azzman lost in the video).

Instead of an assassin, she is a "homing invincible bomb".
