(Which need not be the case since there are plenty of immature, mentally stunted 21 year old women, but you can always count on a 15 year old to have no yardstick for adult standards to compare a guy too).

They feel confident they are mentally superior and can easily manipulate at young teen girl. The power dynamic is a big part of the attraction. They don’t want any sort of equal romantic/sexual relationship, they want a puppy dog (in human form) that dumbly adores them and can be coerced into anything. It’s a lot harder to do that with a 19 or a 23 year old, but very easy with an insecure, inexperienced 14 or 16 year old.

I remember guys in their early 20’s hitting on me IRL when I was 15. Luckily I was very aware of the fact a 21 year old trying to flirt with 15 year old were creepy losers who were after easy prey since attractive girls their own age weren’t interested in them. A 15 year old girl can be very impressed by a guy who can buy booze and has a car to drive, but that’s just the bare minimum for a 20 year old woman.
