From my (admittedly lackluster) observation it can be one of (or several of) a few things:
- Sheer laziness
- Too autistic to handle being wet
- Depressed because of coomer lifestyle so can't bring themselves to shower
- Literally doesn't know how to shower properly, so even though they do shower they always smell like shit

And with deodorant it just seems to be laziness tbh, it doesn't take much to rub your armpits with a dry soap stick yet they still can't even do that

I've a theory on it that made sense to me after some roadtrips. If you can't shower/shower well for a while, you'll start to get pretty grody. And to feel 'clean' after that you'll want a long, hot shower where you soak for a while, probably lather up a couple times, just to feel right. Combine that with any other neglected personal grooming, and you can easily spend half an hour to an hour in the bathroom getting yourself straightened out.

My working theory is that young Weebs let themselves get really gross once, and then try a quick shower - which doesn't leave them feeling clean, hence some of them claiming quick showers don't work. So their showers become the hour long timesink variety, which they put off constantly due to being seen as a timesink, creating a self perpetuating cycle. Factors like poor diet, lack of exercise, and probably lack of clean bedding will make it worse.

Without that drip feed though they start getting antsy, and they don't have the willpower/wherewithal to recognize the issue and force themselves, so they don't shower, they don't go to sleep when they should, they won't prepare regular food, etc.

He has always been a major entitled asshole. He used to get angry at his mother when he had to step away from the stream to eat dinner. Most of the time she served it to him right at his desk. I recall one time he had to go sit at the table to eat a dinner with his nephew. He came back to the stream fuming and cursing his mom's name. He explained that his mother didn't cut his steak for him, but cut his nephew's steak. So he was pissed he had to waste his time cutting his own steak and be afk for longer than he liked. How retarded do you have to be to need assistance to cut steak past like, eight years old. Unless you've cooked a rubber brick, it takes like 3 seconds to slice off a bite. I can't even accept this as an efficiency/laziness thing, you'd spend longer waiting for someone else to do it for you than you'd take doing it yourself.

If this is true, it makes me really wonder what he even does for food these days. He's still lanky as all hell, so now I wonder if he's really just doing ramen and microwave hot pockets in his mid-thirties still.
