So far as I've been able to follow, its very tangential. Yandevs got connections to this Cameron guy, and now he's gone off and stolen the pedo crown, and now a bunch of new faces are bitching at each other over the fine details of the Cameron stuff - Seems Yandev may have spoken to Cameron or some associated parties regarding it, but to be entirely honest its just shaping out as a guilt by association sorta deal now. But there's not really much going on in the Yandev world so its not like they're talking over anything that matters, threads can sidegrade at times. Reminds me back with the last big copycat spinoff, 80% of the thread for a couple months was about that Doctor Apis guy (Not sure if I remembered the name right).
If Yandev had tried to deny his pedo shit earlier, then it might be a different story as this would be a big old stick of "yea ok he definitely knew what he was doing", but with him having just taken it on the chin, Cameron is just a nothingburger in the Yandev story - He's already guilty and accepted it, knowing another fuckup is far less meaningful and practically expected at this point.
The closest we got to a happening was the last update about how Crowdfunding is probably dead and fuck if he knows how he's gonna finish the game now. A new status update dropped yesterday, along with a paywalled patreon post, but the public one doesn't have any fun long rants, just "working on shit" and another page-scroller list of stupid bugs, but nothing particularly fun or interesting.
