Yeah, there were a few posts there. It got linked from the old subreddit so a few people migrated over. However it was half troll posts and half people arguing about censorship again so it was pretty pitiful.

I remember Eva from the old days and was surprised to find out he was the guy behind this game. I think I didn't bother to follow this thread because the game looked kinda shitty (all models looked ripped from 3DCG and the animations were stiff) and his ratface didn't have anything interesting at the time.

Changing the name of the game to LoveSick. And all the refactoring required for that. All your branding and domains and promotional work. Your patreon url your youtube following. Not just the technical busy work involved in that but just the overall fickleness and lack of audience input is going to get more fans to slip off simply out of the "oh. hes changing the name of the entire game... he doesn't know what he's doing" type of reaction. He made it private probably just to hoard the url. I really doubt he's going to go through with it unless he's really really that stupid. Until then though, someone can easily hoard the LoveSick tumblr and twitter urls and domain and such to loosen his grip.

Big difference actually. "Hack and slash" are games like Devil May Cry, God of War, Bayonetta, etc. Theorically, in Lunar Scythe, the main character Luna would go around in a 3D plane jumping and swinging her neon scythe at multiple enemies.
"Fighting game" is stuff like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. His fighting game was basically some weird incomplete shit with a red haired ugly woman swinging laser blades (Luna???) at another Luna. It plays like a you would expect, in a 2D plane with light/heavy attacks, commands, life bars, etc but it's such an incomplete mess that can't even be called a pre-alpha. Alex has to be insane to say that thing was "playable".
