He's the best option for a male voice actor willing to work for him for free.Like who the fuck told him he had a good voice for voice acting?
The best option, because he's the only option.

Not that I'm daring to compare this trapped in everlasting development game to a successful franchise but wouldn't something like GTA/RDR be what Alex perhaps is aiming at? Because both games are sandbox with scripted linear missions and story. Perhaps that's what YS was apparently supposed to be but I could be wrong.Add to that the fact that the concept of a Hitman/Thief game where you're exploring a heavily scripted, self-contained map with some objective list and the concept of an open-world, emergent-gameplay sandbox fit about as well together as a square peg fits into a round hole.
That would be GTA Vice City.Scarface with serial numbers crossed off with a magic marker
My fellow countrymen are attempting such challenge but with dubious results. See "171" for more details.good luck making a 3D GTA clone as a single programmer before you die of old age
Just a reminder, that in chats with Anne he admitted that "some people told him he should do erotic ASMR". And it is even more creepy if consider the demographic he is surrounded with.Like who the fuck told him he had a good voice for voice acting? Ah, yeah, his teenage fangirls, how could I forget
Your suggestion? I stopped at this because even though Alex is a pedo, he'd more gladly bone an obedient anime character, this is why he bough a real doll in the first place - "to make anime real".I’ve got kind of a gripe with Alex’s description as a weaboo coomer with “pedo tendencies.” You either are one or you aren’t; most people don’t groom their adolescent fanbase and obsess over loli content without worse intentions. It’s like Ice-T said:
“I have relationships with adults, and jack it to kids.”
“And I got news for you: that means you’re a pedophile.”
My suggestion would be “weab coomer pedo.” It’s shorter and more accurate. Boning anime doll children isn’t any less pederastic, especially given his online interactions with real children.Just a reminder, that in chats with Anne he admitted that "some people told him he should do erotic ASMR". And it is even more creepy if consider the demographic he is surrounded with.

Doll was of an adult woman.anime doll children
How? If he groomed someone he is a groomer. Pedo tendencies has more to do with his sex license and AOC views.I just wonder if ‘groomer’ alone leaves room for the idea that maybe he wouldn’t do anything IRL.
Also, 'concept' wise it just wouldn't work no matter how much they try to add their own spin. No, because this video is stupid. There is no curse, it is way more simple - the concept is shit and clones are made by people with 0 knowledge or experience who just want to spite Alex, which is not a good long lasting motivation for anything.
It's funny you've mentioned GTA because when I first saw YS I thought: oh, anime girl GTA.Not that I'm daring to compare this trapped in everlasting development game to a successful franchise but wouldn't something like GTA/RDR be what Alex perhaps is aiming at? Hello! I’ve prepared a new build.
To read a list of everything that was added/changed/fixed/improved, please scroll down past this amazing cosplay of Akane by fanfanuika!
Watch the TikTok here!
(She’s done a lot of other super impressive Yandere Sim cosplay, too, and I hope that you go check it out!)
Custom Mode
- From now on, when customizing a student’s reputation, you will see their “Total Reputation” and be informed of whether or not you’ve set a student’s reputation so low that he or she will be bullied at school.
- It is now possible to write the dialogue that your Custom rivals will speak during their confession cutscenes! Just edit the text files in the StreamingAssets/CustomMode/ClubLeaders folder!
- The player can now change the backdrop of student portraits in Custom Mode! Just replace the file named PortraitBG.png in the StreamingAssets/CustomMode/Textures folder.
- It is now possible to write the dialogue that club leaders will speak! Just edit the text files in the StreamingAssets/CustomMode/ClubLeaders folder!
Bake Sale Advertisements
- To make Week 2 feel more unique from Week 1, advertisements now appear throughout the school to promote the bake sale.
- Each advertisement features a different member of the Cooking Club.
- If that Cooking Club member is dead, the advertisement will feature Amai, instead.
- If Ayano is in the Cooking Club, she will be featured on one of the advertisements.
- If Ayano poisons the bake sale and causes people to get sick, then, on the subsequent day at school, the bake sale advertisements will be replaced with apology letters from Amai.
- The design/wording of the advertisements may change in the future.
- More advertisements may be created in the future.
Improvements
- The “Content Checklist” screen now has a “Total Playtime” counter that displays how long you’ve played the game for. (That number will reset to zero if you ever reset your Content Checklist.)
- Two characters in 1989 secretly have a crush on each other. These two characters will now switch to the Heroic Persona if they see you murdering the person they have a crush on.
- The 1980s Mode rivals now speak unique dialogue when you interrupt an event between them and Senpai, instead of all re-using Osana’s dialogue.
- If you’re logged in to Discord while playing Yandere Sim, your Discord Status will now update when you are in the Custom Mode scene.
- Sports Club members in 1980s Mode now wear swimming goggles when they go swimming, and their hair shape changes when it gets wet.
- The “Toggle Club Accessory” option is now darkened for characters who are not in a club.
- The game can now accurately detect the “8BitDo Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller.”
- 1980s Photography Club members now have unique portrait poses.
- Kyuji’s alternate hair models now have hair physics.
Fixes
- If the player splashed Chigusa with water while she was on her way to change into a swimsuit at the beginning of the day, her “changing clothing” animations would become glitched, and after her morning photoshoot, she would change into her school uniform even though it should be unavailable. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player assigned a student the “Jog” action, combined with any destination that was not the locker room, that student would go change their clothing at the destination they were instructed to Jog in. This bug has been fixed.
- Three of the protagonist’s hair model options were not centered properly on the protagonist’s head, which would cause problems when the player used the “invert hair” option. These issues have been corrected.
- In Custom Mode, if the player assigned a rival character the “Sleuth” action, the rival would not correctly enter that action after placing their bookbag in their classroom. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player skipped straight to lunchtime before Otohiko could arrive at school and then tried to talk to Otohiko, it would be impossible to speak with him. This bug has been fixed.
- If Osana and Raibaru were socializing together and Raibaru became distracted by a weapon on the ground, the player would become unable to interact with Osana. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player assigned the “CleanWitnessSpot” destination to a student, they wouldn’t be able to construct their list of destinations/actions. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player used the water basin at the school pool to wash blood off of a weapon, the protagonist would float a few inches upward into the air. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player attended class while Sumiko was jogging, Sumiko would remain in her jogging animation instead of returning to her normal animations. This bug has been fixed.
- When the player instructed a suitor in 1980s Mode to change their hairstyle, certain hairstyles would cause the suitor’s eyes to change color. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player splashed Chigusa with water at lunchtime, she would lose her ability to change into her swimsuit at her locker after 4:00 PM. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player enabled the blood censor and then set up a blood bucket trap, blood would spill out of the bucket instead of flowers. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player kidnapped a student with Custom Stockings in Custom Mode, the student would not appear correctly in the basement. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, any “CustomHangout” placed on the gym stage might result in a character spinning in circles indefinitely. This bug has been fixed.
- When using the ventilation system, the “Foreign Studies Room” was referred to by its old name – the English Classroom. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player designed a male rival, the rival could fail to spawn with the correct appearance. This bug should now be fixed.
- The face textures of the “Rainbow Girls” were appearing correctly in Custom Mode, but not in normal 1980s Mode. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player dismembered a student, their accessories would float in midair. This bug can no longer occur.
- Students in 202X mode were using the gym uniform intended for 1989s students. This bug has been fixed.
- Female accessory #19, the lip piercing, was invisible in student portraits. This bug has been fixed.
- Fixed a typo in Info-chan’s Monday Week 1 bounty text.
- Fixed typo in Komako’s diary.
Progress
I’m extremely eager to get back to work on Amai – I’m very enthusiastic about the idea of making tons of improvements to her week – but there are still a handful of improvements that I want to make to Custom Mode, first. If you’re thinking, “Grrrrr, I don’t care about Custom Mode!!!” please calm down – it won’t last forever.
I like the idea of completely wrapping up all my Custom Mode tasks by the end of January and then focusing exclusively on Amai starting Feb 1st, since that’s exactly what I did on Feb 1st of 2024, and I like the “poetry” of those two dates mirroring each other, one year apart.
Stream Anniversary
16 years ago, on January 17th 2009, I streamed a video game for the first time. Every year, I celebrate my “stream anniversary” on January 17th and 19th by replaying the first two games that I ever streamed – Resident Evil 4 and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. This year, my anniversary streams will take place on my Kick channel. I’ve been abstaining from video games for the past few months to focus exclusively on game development, but I have to make an exception on those two days. I simply can’t let my age-old streaming tradition die! It means too much to me.
I don’t expect you to spend the whole day watching my stream, but I just wanted to let you know that you’re welcome to drop by and say hello while I’m playing RE4 and Goemon!
Thank you for following the development of Yandere Simulator!
Oops! There was a game-breaking bug in the previous update, so I’ve released a new build. Sorry about that!

Improvements
- When the player becomes a delinquent, a new option called “Intimidate” takes the place of the “Ask Favor” dialogue option. However, from now on, if you speak to a friend while you are a delinquent, the “Ask Favor” option will remain, instead of being replaced by “Intimidate.” It’s not necessary to Intimidate someone after you’ve befriended them.
- Raibaru can no longer be Intimidated, because she’s not afraid of bullies or delinquents.
Fixes
- If the player spoke to a student while holding something in their hands (such as a plate of food or cardboard box) the player would drop the object immediately, which could sometimes result in a softlock depending on whether or not the interaction required that object to remain in the player’s hands. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player designed a teacher with the Protective Persona and a Strength of Invincible and then let that teacher witness murder, the teacher would perform a takedown animation on the player, but the animation and camera movement would not be synchronized correctly. This bug has been fixed.
- In Mission Mode, aiming your camera at someone’s face is meant to increase “Awareness”, eventually leading to a game over. However, this would also happen even if the player was a member of the Photography Club, which didn’t make a lot of sense. This oversight has been corrected.
- In Custom Mode, if a student’s “React Strongly To Student’s Death” value was set to “0”, the “strong reaction” could be triggered in situations where there was no student involved and thus the “StudentID” value was remaining at zero. This bug has been fixed.
- In the Custom Mode menu, if the player tried to change a student’s task, club accessory, or “strong reaction,” the game would not accept the player’s input. This bug has been fixed.
- In Custom Mode, if the player created a student with a Strength above “5” and then murdered that student’s loved one, their Strength would decrease to 5. This bug has been fixed.
- If a delinquent saw the player kill Chigusa, they would run up to the player and engage in a struggle instead of using their weapon against the player. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player put Nemesis inside of the kiln in the Art Room, it would become impossible to activate the kiln and burn her corpse. This bug has been fixed.
- Fixed type in Umanosuke’s profile.
- Fixed typo in Yui Rio’s profile.
Viscera Cleanup Detail? It's funny you've mentioned GTA because when I first saw YS I thought: oh, anime girl GTA.
It actually has much less in common than I thought back then - but maybe the weapons lying around were giving me this vibe back in the day.
Actually, Alex is such a leech, that I wouldn't be surprised he was yoinking various mechanics from such different games.
Like, cleaning the blood with a mop was an idea I saw in some indie game about a guy on a spaceship (don't even remember the concept), taking pantyshots is from Natsuhiro High School or whatever it's called, ect.
Yep, that's the one. YouTubers were playing it and then YS suspiciously had the same feature, even though it's not even truly needed in such game imo.Viscera Cleanup Detail?
There's some truth to this, but the thing is that GTA games have sandbox that only exists in some area around the player. I.e. as soon as you leave the loading area it disappears, which is ok for a game like this, but not really ok for something like YS concept wise, since students still need to follow their routines and do stuff according to your actions. Like you can go on a rampage in GTA, lose the heat and then keep going like nothing happened, but you can't just kill entire classroom, change your clothes and then be like "I don't know how it happened" while being the only survivor. At least not when the game takes itself deadly seriously. Not that I'm daring to compare this trapped in everlasting development game to a successful franchise but wouldn't something like GTA/RDR be what Alex perhaps is aiming at? Because both games are sandbox with scripted linear missions and story. Perhaps that's what YS was apparently supposed to be but I could be wrong.
They could just make senpai a girl. Or make yandere a tranny.A lot of these spite games were made by people who are fairly woke, and wokeness and the whole general concept of 'cartoonishly crazy anime schoolgirl murdering people because they breathed in her mans direction simulator' just dont mesh well
Not so funny for Alex, I'd say. It's funny to think that some people were children when he started, and now they are adults.
Isn't it too late for that?Watch him use the LA fires as a way to get pity money.
I know, it sounds super bad quality for some reason, but it's no doubt his voice. Maybe he tried to sound different so no-one would recognise him?I was a bit confused by the voice acting clip. His lines sounds like utter trash. Echo-y, I suppose. He's never had an amazing microphone I don't think, but I was legitimately shocked when I heard the clip. I had to go back to his YouTube channel to verify his microphone hasn't always sounded like that, and it sounds vastly different.
Someone who actually understands sound/audio/microphones, what the fuck is he doing to cause it to sound like that?
A lot of reasons. His videos usually have background track and it's a good way to mask some of the flaws from one's voice recording. I remember someone stating that he isn't the one editing his videos and it may be the case since earliest YS videos had an absolute ass of sound quality while newer ones are better, so maybe he didn't have anyone to edit his voice recordings for the game. Maybe he just got rusty since the infamous apology video so he can't muster even this level of quality. I think, he still had an ok microphone in that one though.I was a bit confused by the voice acting clip. His lines sounds like utter trash. Echo-y, I suppose.
