Luckily the dialogue wheel patent expires in around 10 years, so Eva won't have to worry about it

Either you need to click certain wasd keys or you have no choice but to move your mouse halfway across the screen to get it. Either way, it's still terrible.

Beign a streamer was his dream before Yansim, but it didn't go well for the reasons you pointed out. Now he has a fanbase of underage kids who don't care about those things and watch him play and give asspats.

Most murder/stealth games are a hit or miss to me- either they're very good, or they crash and burn. One of the things that can put down a game is the protagonist. They need to be lethal, yet the player can still like them (Like with Agent 47 in Hitman). I can't believe I'm saying this, but even YanSim has grasped this concept by giving Yandere-chan the ability to do a pacifist route and to give her SOME sort of backstory in order to make the player sympathize with her (thanks to the shitty writing it doesn't really work, but at least he sorta tried to). Meanwhile, I can't sympathize with Uribi.

Uribi reminds me more of Luna, they're both bone-dry characters who's only motivations for the whole game are 'She wants to kill becuase edge!'

I just read the entirety of this and I have things to say. (Thank yous to the kiwi who linked to that atrocity some 30 pages back, I can't remember who you are but I'd be willing to buy you a beer for wasting my time so beautifully.)

I've been following this thread for a pretty long while now. I don't know if the crap in that link was discussed in detail way before I joined, but I'm gonna risk earning a few alarm clocks on this post to express MY surprise and possibly inform a few people who don't have the time to go through a 60+ page thread spergfest of women-hating. The subject is: Evolution of EvaXephon; How the Prude became the the Perv. Also known as the common growth pattern of many a nice guy and lonelyfag.

Spoilered for the sheer length and being Old News, albeit I must say... Very interesting.

The thread is from -06, making Eva around 10 years younger than he is now. The subject of the thread is his hatred for sluts, brought forth by a webcomic he reads called Loserz.

Please keep in mind the kind of person he is NOW while you're reading this. Here are some beliefs he expresses during the 60+ pages of that thread:

I could not accept Jodie, even if I had been her friend before she became a slut. I do not find being a slut as something that is 'acceptable', as Ben and Eric do. It is not merely a 'weakness' or a 'failing' or a 'character flaw' to me, but a terrible, horrible sin that is completely and totally unacceptable.

(Emphasis mine.)

- Women who express sexual feelings and/or have had sex with anything other than a single life-long partner are sluts. They are immoral, tactless and bad people, and he feels very disgusted by them. When asked would he feel this way about a girl who married her first boyfriend, planned to stay with him for the rest of her life and was dumped some time after losing her virginity, he responded that "he wouldn't consider her a slut", but would turn her down if she was interested in him because "she wasn't pure anymore."

^ His justification for this is amazing. Being a sheltered, home schooled kid, he learned about people from TV, and in TV, only men ever express strong sexual desires. Women are always indifferent or shutting the men down. He says the realization that women have sexual feelings and frequently TALK ABOUT those feelings in real life lead to him "having a mental breakdown." This, somehow, makes his slut-hate okay and morally justifiable(superior, even).

When my sheltering ended and I was exposed to the fact that females like this existed, I literally had a mental breakdown. I was disgusted more than I had ever been in my entire life, and frequently stated my rejection and hatred for such 'slutty' and 'perverted' females.

At one point, he pretty much equates being a slut as bad as being a rapist, declaring he'd rather not choose between the two at all.

- He is very much obsessed with purity and would not even "go out of his way to interact or hang out" with a girl who he has been friends with for a long time, but who recently lost her virginity. To him, "she doesn't exist". Lovely.

- A woman makes a long, thoughtful comment on the thread, starting by calling herself a nymphomaniac and commenting on how her and her boyfriend just 'broke in his new car' by having sex in it. According to Eva, this line made him so upset he stopped reading right that second, and proceeded to go through his day (which included a trip to the hair salon) FUMING MAD, constantly thinking back to that comment and feeling revolted. He proceeds to do his best to ignore her comments the whole thread, sometimes saying he feels too disgusted by this person to take anything she writes seriously.

- He makes it clear multiple times that he absolutely despises cursing and tends to ignore comments by people who use "vulgar language". This becomes another heated side-debate.

- He wants a girlfriend who is a kissless virgin, has large breasts and whose personality is, among other things "malleable". This freaked a lot of people out, which Eva didn't understand. He often describes his ideal women as "angelic", "pure" and "meek" as well.

^ He posts a picture of a model/celebrity who is very beautiful, comments on how her waist is fine but her (something around b-cup) breasts make it "impossible for him to think of her as physically attractive". Small breasts are not only a preference issue, but an absolute deal-breaker to him.

Later on the thread devolves into a mess when people, one of whom happens to be the Loserz webcomic's author, realize what a shitbag Eva is. The author starts discussing things with neutrality and some interest, then makes it very clear when Eva crosses the line into being a "judgemental asshole", and from that point onwards he has no sympathy for him anymore. This happens to multiple people in the thread who, at first, offer him sympathy, understanding and patience.

While the thread sidetracks into hell and back, Eva expresses some other interesting opinions:

- He thinks school shootings are justified if only bullies are killed, because they are mean.

- He thinks "mean people" have 0 value and should just straight up be killed, because that would be "a nice thing to do" and the world would become a utopia for nice people. He thinks being 'nice' (=making personal sacrifices for others, being polite and thoughtful of other people's feelings) is pretty much the ultimate virtue(apart from a girl staying "pure"). Pretty surprising, considering how condescending and toxic he is to every non-asskisser today.

- A part of him "can't help feeling" that babies with a chance to be born with mental retardation should be aborted and ones already born not kept alive. He says this to a person with an autistic little brother.

- He of course constantly describes himself as "nice", and more ethical than most people. He also seems to regard himself as more logical and rational than most people.

People call him out for hiding behind a wall of neutrality and passive-agressiveness. Sometimes he takes on the role of a bullied victim in the thread once he starts losing his arguments + saying shit that makes people legitimately mad. At one point he admits he just became defensive and argumentative to the point of re.tardation because people were being mean and challenging his views so hard. (So, even though he started the thread and decided to discuss "the darkest part of his personality" as he says quite voluntarily, he was shocked and offended that people came in to debate his shit opinions. INCREDIBLE. )

By the end of it all, he has changed his views somewhat, which would be a great, positive point to leave the thread and never hear from this person again.

...but alas, seeing what he has become... I feel like there's no middle ground with this guy, and he can't help but go from one extreme to another. This, to me, is very interesting, and that's why I'm here. I think the turning point lies somewhere with that teen girl he perved on whose name I can't recall, but that's too much for one post.

This is what I find so amusing about it all. In multiple ways he's become the absolute epitome of what he detests, well, except of course being sexually active(*canned laughter*). He's on 24/7 perv mode, curses to people he doesn't know and treats everyone with disrespect and almost contempt.

Of course, this was back when he was 17, during his edgelord phase (which he still hasn't grown out of). Now he's adopted more of a "professional" attitude, which he thinks means acting as creepily static as possible.
