Okay, not only is it another shitty pun name, but its an awful one at that. If you care this little about the name of a character, so much to the point that there's no difference between the fan/working name and the final name, why exert the effort to change it at all?

This is possibly the laziest naming he's ever done, I ragged on Midori Gurin a while back, but at least he took the effort to find the japanese word for green, whether he got it from google translate or not. This though, is just him taking an english (although technically french) word, and just saying "fuck it, let's add a japanese accent to it". You know its bad when even the subreddit can't excuse it.

He could've gone with Kikko, taken from the word Kikkou-zai, which I believe means antagonist/foe. But again, he didn't care to get an actual japanese name, so long as it's vaguely japanese sounding its good enough for his preteen fans, although they aren't even buying it.
