Man, I still remember the days of me watching Pewdiepie play this game for the first time and I was laughing my ass off endlessly for how silly it was for him to murder students and act exceptional using anime-tropes. It was how I met the Dev's youtube channel for the first time as well and I thought he was a chill, all around cool guy. There were some things that seemed off-putting about him to me, but I shrugged it off and didn't think too much of it.

Boy, this thread sure has been a ride when I first discovered it.

Honestly I think it's a bit too early to call for Alex's 'defeat' with the latest Discord drama, it's just going to be another dint in Yandere Dev's history that most of his loyal fans will overlook in the next few weeks just like the other previous stuff ups.
I've been lurking this thread for maybe a year now and saw times where everyone here called for the fall of Yandev over his petty drama and yet here we are in 2018 and Alex still gets around 1 million views on his 'update' videos. No one on the youtube side will care about his shit because they only know his 'youtube persona'.
Here's hoping he'll have another chimp out video soon like the e-mails vid that turned a lot of people off and realize what a manchild he is. Otherwise we just have to wait for maybe another year or 3 until he inevitably says "I will cease development on Yandere Simulator because of [insert reason here]."

That’s reasonable to think; now we just have to take over his YouTube comments and "win the hearts" of the YouTube community. Tumblr probably too, but Ol’ Eva boy left that a while ago I heard.

I'm kinda going to assume that this absolute meltdown of Alex in regards to the Server and Reddit will drive him further into his personal hugbox server and he will need to be showered a bit more in asspats, slowing down the "progress" of the game even further. At least for a while until he recovered from this traumatic near death experience.
And I agree with @Patreon-chan on it. It definitely is a major blow to his ego and consequently fanbase, but it's too early to call it a defeat since as a few caps have showed, he still has some diehard fans.
Lolcows have in general the ability to somewhat cockroach their way out of these things.

These conversations are goldmine in everyway because it show what an awful talker he is. No matter how hard he tries negotiate, deescalate the situation, appeal to sympathy, play the victim, argue morality, etc all the mod has to say is "why can't you apologize?" and Alex immediatly blows up and screams "BUT TOXIC PEOPLE MUST DIE!!!"

It almost reads almost like a textbook example for identifying a lolcow, with Alex making up whatever argument it takes to not admit he is wrong.
