Fitting how "Yandere Simulator" turned out to be such an apt description of Alex's relationship with his fans.
You know a guy who owns a fireworks store. He recently hired a known arsonist. You know exactly what's going to happen in the near future: the arsonist is going to start a fire and blow up the entire store! It's inevitable!

You know, this quote really shows off how Alex interacts with people. It couldn't be that an arsonist is trying to turn his life around, or that the arsonist enjoys working around fireworks so he doesn't have to hurt people with his pyrotechnics, the only possibility is that the arsonist is going to blow up the store! Never mind that, even if he weren't working there, he could easily break in and start a fire anyway, and that getting fired would give the arsonist a good reason to try and blow up the store. Nah, just kick him out because he did something illegal once.

Holy shit, this just keeps getting better and better. He has the worst damage control I've ever seen and has managed to escalate the situation even further. If he was a sensible human being and just apologized to the people, this whole thing would've been swept under the rug and be over with, but since this is Alex, he managed to turn the entire discord server against him, as well as a large portion of the subreddit. He has ostracized almost every part of his fanbase by now. First, it was 4chan, then 8chan, and now it's discord and reddit. Also, I'm pretty sure he ran off of tumblr at some point, and to my knowledge, the yan-sim tumblr community is very small, but there are some people on tumblr who despise him as well.
