That was a different case tho cause he didn't pay the tinybuild programmer so Alex treated him like any other volunteer who gives him shit for free every once in a while. It was basically this:

Alex: Well tinybuild it's been a while since we talked, where is my finished game?
Tinybuild: Where is what? You didnt seek me for months! You're the game dev, i thought you would have made enough progress by now so we can start the polish and production. I'm sure at least Osana is done by now right?
Alex: Osana WHO???

Wow did things just explode in a day. As someone who is now only around for the LOLz, this whole situation is just... :story:

Really didn't expect him to shit out a "Clearing Up Misunderstandings" so quickly, but I guess this is Alex 'saying someone would be better off dead is different than saying KYS' Mahan we are dealing with. I don't expect a huge dent in his following, seeing how a number of his fans only know him from Wordpress or YouTube and will be unaffected by the situation. Things will just continue to drag out until he exhausts every last bit of interest people have for the game, which I don't think will take that long seeing how the last year has been going.

Even if most people say that at some point, that doesn't make it any less wrong. He should accept the consequences of saying these things.

I've been lurking this thread for maybe a year now and saw times where everyone here called for the fall of Yandev over his petty drama and yet here we are in 2018 and Alex still gets around 1 million views on his 'update' videos. No one on the youtube side will care about his shit because they only know his 'youtube persona'.
Here's hoping he'll have another chimp out video soon like the e-mails vid that turned a lot of people off and realize what a manchild he is. Otherwise we just have to wait for maybe another year or 3 until he inevitably says "I will cease development on Yandere Simulator because of [insert reason here]."

While I don't think this incident will be the absolute downfall of Alex, the accumulation of every little thing he does will take its toll. Every little dent produced by his own selfishness will be known.

Yandev is playing Jenga with his fanbase right now. There is only so much they can take from him. Any mistake, and everything will fall down.

You have to pay to enter the Twitch Subs Only chat. It's still active.
