I like what I'm hearing, but a little aside.

Coding isn't hard, anyone can code, it'd all a matter of learning a syntax. Programming is what's hard.

Coding is knowing enough about a syntax to produce something.

Programming is knowing enough about a computer to use it to efficiently and procedurally (or methodically, or functionally, there are many words used to describe it) solve problems.

Stick with it.

Thank you! I tried out C# cause i remember the thread bringing it up before. But im also interested in other types of coding too.

Welcome to the farms!

Thanks! This thread has had some pretty good laughs! Glad I read through it all!

I think this has been shared before but it still fits

If you're in to more than just games, I'd look into C++, I've been using it for nearly a decade and its well worth learning. Plus, the Unreal Engine is way better than Unity if you ever want to go back to games. (You could even pick it up now, even if you aren't far along into learning to code, it has its own Proprietary language called Blueprints, which is a visual programming language perfect for people starting out)

Good luck on the journey~

What a time! I catch up on on this thread and this has got to be the best part so far!

So I’m new here. I actually found out about this fantastic disaster through lolcow (I think it was around page 900 when I found this thread). I have read every page so I know all thats going on. This may be a bit :powerlevel: but this thread made me have more interest in coding! Honestly its not too difficult. Also, I was never part of the fandom so I’ve never been on the subreddit or use the discord. I know its cringey but the concept of a yandere game could be pretty great, but not in Alex’s slimy hands. Feel free to rate me :autism: or :powerlevel:

welcome, my dude!
i hope you enjoy this autistic shitfest!

Thats really good to know! I’ll look into it actually since i do want to do more than video games. Video games is part if the reason I got into coding but theres other things I’m wanting to do too. :optimistic:

Alex doesn't even look good when you compare him to the most hated developer on the planet: Digital Homicide. A developer that has:
-Flooded steam with a deluge of games that should be humanly impossible, only to make their name show up in more search results and win out through sheer volume. They are able to do this because they simply tweak and retitle one game a bit and release it as a "new game". Some of their games are just levels of one game that got separated into a bunch of different ones, again just so they can crowd search results. Steam's legendarily poor quality control allows them to do this.
-Been so unoriginal in developing games, they need to make entire games from Unity asset packs, and even went so far as to use a Google image search for a blood effect, which is so poorly implemented, you can actually see where the image ends during gameplay, making it look extremely jarring and fake.
-Sued a game critic for $10 million US dollars over a negative review, claiming it was "libel" or "hate speech" or something that it wasn't, it was just a regular negative review no worse than the plenty of negative reviews of things that are already on the internet. Also they lost.

Only differences between them and Alex aaare...
-Profits. Specifically the amount of profit DH has made selling games, and the amount YD has made off of generous Patreon donations (from a young audience) and money he also got from TinyBuild. Any bigger game company would sooner hire Digital Homicide employees because Alex would be too much of a negative money sink.
-Alex's image. Again, most of his fans are young and/or female. Alex has the image of being an affable nerd who likes schoolgirls and pantsu and fantasies and you can imagine dressing up in a cute/sexy outfit and him finding something to appreciate in it (rather than thinking it looks weird). Some of his female fans (who just want a safe space to talk shop) will moderate his forums for him (being his personal unpaid servant) and even white knight him using the logic of mothers who can't be critical of their children and let them grow because their precious children can do no wrong. Who are Digital Homicide employees? Just a random group of uncouth troll developers trying to pull a fast one on you. But Alex? He's your friend. No- he's your boyfriend. Your husbando.

Alex is the one man boy band of the modern age in that regard, if the boy band just practiced and never actually had an album. Him being a shut in means he is always the underdog and young women can stick up for him no matter what happens and see him grow into doing amazing things and being a developer means he is also a rock star which they can use to believe he's special and so much more cool and talented than the masses who wouldn't understand what his work is like. By utilizing either method to take advantage of either aspect of female psychology, he can get on their good side and have them look the other way whenever he does something that would be bad behavior for anyone else.

What I'm saying is, if Alex is someday convicted for abducting and sexually harassing a woman someday, I wouldn't be all that surprised. He is already an unwittingly natural seducer. All it took was tons of development time and e-drama.

Alex needs more sleep to be honest.
Yeah he also go outside for once in his life and go talk a walk. Drink some water and take showers. He also needs a long break from any device and learn to socialize like a normal human.
This is the infamous Alex Mahan we’re talking about. He is going to stay infront of computer streaming while dreaming of the day he’ll be able to slurp lunar scythe’s big busty boobies .

Hey guys, even though it's kind of fun to insult other people for their looks, I think it sets the bar low. Alex's face is the least of his problems with the shitstorm going on right now. I'm saying this, because his fans could fuel their anger by using our juvenile insults about an insecure manchild who's already overly concerned about his looks in the first place.

I suppose you're right. No need to give them anything to work with.
