Hopefully with this whole Osana thing, fans will start waking up to the fact that Alex hasn't gotten very far in developing the story of Yandere Sim. Unless you count thinking it up in his head "developing", or streaming games every night to stea-I mean "borrow" ideas from other games
That's a lot to expect seeing as his fanbase is still intact after he tried to buy the Discord server and subreddit, not to mention after he told a fan to kill himself. Yeah, he's totally developing. He responds to emails after 2 hours, which means he's not "very busy developing the 'game'", always online at discord, and spends his night streaming for hours. I hope his revenue and patreon donations drop very low, because then he'll be forced to finish Osana, or even better, drop the game and cause a shitstorm. :optimistic:

As pronounced in Japanese. It's absolutely ridiculous that he added that, but wants the game to be completely serious.
I feel like it would be much better if he treated the game less seriously, like if he went with somewhat of a self aware Metal Gear vibe. I mean, one of his planned rivals is a substitute teacher who likes to seduce her students...

I hope his revenue and patreon donations drop very low, because then he'll be forced to finish Osana, or even better, drop the game and cause a shitstorm. :optimistic:
Yeah, I feel like Alex is being enabled by his fanbase to be able to continue meandering on the game and not fully releasing it. He's basically getting paid not to release the game at this point.

Yandere chan isn't a yandere at all
1. Yanderes aren't emotionless
2. A yandere would be the exact opposite of shy around their senpai
3. She only see's one rival but a true yandere would see nearly every girl that senpai knows as a threat
4. Why the fuck does she or anyone else even like senpai?
I think you’re giving YanDev too much credit. He seems to barely have any knowledge of half the shit he’s putting in his game, much less basic knowledge about a sub-tag in hentai. Though honestly that might be just about all he does know about it.

He's basically getting paid not to release the game at this point.

There was a thread a while back on the subreddit saying essentially this, and all of the comments were "Good, the game will go Pay2Play when he releases osana so I hope he takes as long as he needs". So essentially he's listening to the people who have no plan on buying his game to begin with lmfao.

(bye bye comment)

i'm not sure if this is 100% related to the thread, but i joined the YandereSimulator discord server just to get insta-ban after posting a image of Yandev(pick below).

After that i got invited to a "Anti-yandev" discord server by some random user.
It seens like the dudes on that place check YandereSimulator's server to recruit anyone who has negative feelings towards yandev. They are mostly edgy teenagers that have seen those videos exposing yandev and because of that they decided to join the anti-yandev club.
They are basically inofensive, but it's cute to see that yandev's younger fans are starting to rise against him.

As a side note, one dude on the server was talking with mulberry and sharing screenshots of their conversation. He was trying to get information from her but he was unable to achieve anything.

You got the server link for it?

"It might be a while before he can respond, but he will answer when he can."

I mainly wanted to put those side by side.

I may test this with a few throwaway email accounts. Record the submit time and the delivery times; I doubt a man like him can multitask that well.
Should I ask him to "clarify" some things seen on here? I'd love to see his attempts to do so.

EDIT (since I don't want to double post):
I guess we missed a build yesterday.

  • Fixed bug that would allow Yandere-chan to make food in the Cooking Club at the same time as Kokona making food in the Cooking Club, but only if Yandere-chan joined the Cooking Club while Kokona was preparing food.
  • Fixed bug that prevented a student with the Fragile persona from saying the right line of dialogue to Yandere-chan if the Fragile student had witnessed Yandere-chan commit murder on a previous day.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a Phone Addict to hold a smartphone in their hand when performing an action that required their hands to be free, like touching their face or turning off a radio.
  • Fixed bug that caused a student with the Spiteful persona to react negatively to Yandere-chan even if she witnessed Yandere-chan murder one of her enemies on a previous day.
  • Fixed bug that caused a student to have speech effects emitting from their head if they were socializing when their “go meet up with someone” protocol was activated.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a character to walk around with a bento and chopsticks attached to their hands if they were alarmed by a radio while eating their lunch.
  • Fixed bug that allowed Yandere-chan to repeat the “Hold Musume hostage” cutscene twice, if the player kidnapped Musume again after the Befriend/Betray sequence.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the text at the top-right corner of the screen from properly updating to display the phase of the day if the player was late to class.
  • Fixed bug that caused a student’s animations to become broken if the player aimed a camera at them while they were in the process of turning off a radio.
  • Fixed bug that would cause club accessories to appear on Yandere-chan’s body in the “Befriend/Betray” cutscene, even if Yandere-chan wasn’t in a club.
  • Fixed bug that caused Musume to hold a smartphone in her hands when it wouldn’t make sense for her to hold it, after beind kidnapped and traumatized.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a delinquent to say the wrong voiced line when speaking to Yandere-chan after seeing her commit murder on a previous day.
  • Fixed bug that would cause Info-chan’s “Send Home” service to fail if it was used on a student who was being distracted by another student.
  • Fixed bug that caused a Phone Addict’s phone to disappear if they were distracted by a radio while their phone wasn’t in their hand.
  • When a female student is standing while texting on a smartphone, the smartphone should no longer be tilted at a strange angle.
  • Fixed bug that prevented a Photography Club member’s accessories from appearing on their body parts if they were dismembered.
  • Fixed bug that prevented Senpai from playing an animation during the game over where he reacts to Yandere-chan stalking him.
  • Fixed bug that caused students to look at their phones while running to perform a group takedown on Yandere-chan.
  • Fixed bug that would cause an instant game over if a Phone Addict witnessed a murder after reporting a corpse.
  • Adjusted the headmaster’s code so that when he rotates to face Yandere-chan, his movements look more natural.
  • Fixed bug that could cause Musume to hold a cigarette and a smartphone in the same hand simultaneously.
  • Fixed bug that caused an injured delinquent to return to his non-injured daily routine after 4:00 PM.
  • Updated the “burning to death” animation for male students so they close their eyes at the end.
  • Fixed bug that prevented Photography Club members from having outlines in Yandere Vision.
  • Students should no longer get stuck on doors when trying to pass through a doorway.

Some of these are flat out ridiculous lmao

EDIT 2:
I went ahead and archived all builds since the photography club update

Yes, please test it. Ask him stuff like where does all the money from youtube and patreon go to, seeing as his volunteers don't get paid, and why he streams for 3+ hours while claiming he devotes all of his time on developing the game, and some other questions regarding his "game" that are hard to avoid. It's a bit risky so word them "politely" because he may act up if it comes off passive-aggressively. I want to see how many more stupid excuses he can think of. :)

Wow, I guess adding the Photography Club created more bugs. Or are those bugs caused by his spaghetti code?

I sent two just now. I plan to make two more accounts later and test it in the afternoon too, just to get the time barrier to not be an issue either.

3 bug builds have happened since the photography club has been added. I'll quote the other two since I didn't do that in my last post.

  • Fixed bug that caused the game to permanently freeze if the player joined the Photography Club, spoke to the club leader about performing a club activity, and then declined to perform the activity.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the Photography Club leader from having a voiced line when Yandere-chan says goodbye to him after School Atmosphere has been lowered.
  • Added a little bit more space between lines when talking to a Club Leader so that their sentences don’t begin too quickly after their previous lines.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the Photography Club leader from saying his voiced line when the player attempted to perform a club activity.
  • Fixed bug that would allow the player to cauterize the wounds of a corpse while being chased by a pursuer.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the Photography Club leader’s idle animation from looping when talking to him.
  • Fixed bug that would allow the player to dismember a corpse while being chased by a pursuer.
  • Fixed bug that prevented a Sleuth from properly reacting after witnessing a corpse.
  • Changed Rojasu’s surname (his previous surname was a typo).
  • Fixed graphical problem with Dafuni’s hair texture.

  • Updated the Sleuth Persona’s “investigate” animation so that it looks more natural, and made them stand farther away from their targets so that they look like they’re checking out the vicinity rather than closely examining one person.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a character to permanently stop holding a scrubber or erasers if Yandere-chan aimed a camera at them during Cleaning Time.
  • Fixed bug that prevented a character’s portrait from displaying in Mission Mode if they weren’t one of the game’s first 30 characters.
  • Fixed bug that prevented Nemesis from being able to disguise herself as any character other than the game’s first 30 characters.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a Sleuth to permanently stop holding their smartphone after Yandere-chan aimed a camera at them.
  • Gave the Photography Club new “carefree talking” and “serious talking” animations that might feel a little more natural.
  • Fixed bug that prevented a Sleuth from properly reacting to witnessing Yandere-chan holding a corpse in her arms.
  • Fixed bug that allowed the player to “Tag” a student who wasn’t actually present at school.
  • Adjusted Rojasu’s animations a bit to give him that “chill” vibe I was going for.
  • Tweaked Horuda’s portrait.

Wow, I guess adding the Photography Club created more bugs. Or are those bugs caused by his spaghetti code?

Very likely both, his code is unmanageable and he no doubt sloppily implemented the photog club the same way he implemented the delinquents. Most of those bug fix descriptions are hilarious, that's what you get when your logic is based solely of thousands of if statements

Yeah, a lot of them made me laugh too, especially in June 5th build. "Fixed bug that would allow Yandere-chan to make food in the Cooking Club at the same time as Kokona making food in the Cooking Club, but only if Yandere-chan joined the Cooking Club while Kokona was preparing food." That isn't even a bug that's just poor coding and complete ignorance of collision.

More and more of these threads crop up every day:
https://www.reddit.com/r/yandere_simulator/comments/8p0944/_/

forget smelling the chimp out I can taste it now.

I love that people are openly ripping on Alex, and the mods.
Archived that
So, how long until the fanbase actually gets tired of YanDev's laziness?
We can give any estimate. Alex does that too all the time.
Mmm... I like to guess that by 2020 or even next year this game will be nothing but a joke to a large majority of the fanbase. I also predict that YandereDev will become a meme for content creators once that actually happens and you'll be hearing "____ will happen when Yandere Simulator is finished" jokes. Pretty :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic: of me there.

The other prediction is probably 2023, 2025, 2030, or somewhere within. By then Dev will no longer be able to excuse his procrastination. If that day comes, prepare for chaos in this fandom :drink:
