Alex is probably going to get away with this easily. Due to the fact that he's presented himself in such a way that it's almost "hard" to figure out what he's really like, around 95% of the fanbase thinks he's the smart, hardworking Dev who constantly gets attacked by gremlins. All the Yandere Sim YouTubers don't give enough of a crap to address this, either. The only way people can learn the truth is if they go on this thread or on the subreddit, and we're a niche part of the *ahem* community, to say the least. Most people just watch his videos, and that's all they know of him.

This might work out for this thread, honestly. The longer it takes for people to jump ship, the deeper the hole he's digging himself into gets.

No need to offer evidence when the fanbase doesn't care about it. Majority of the fans are young kids who got sucked into the game by various Youtubers like The Kub Scoutz (that was how I got into it), Bjuu Mike, Azzman, Markiplier, etc... They don't understand how bad Dev really is and I doubt any evidence will.

I suppose it was rather a jab at his need to prove unnecessary stuff rather than a totally take care of what matters (the game), though it us a little sad to how willing to believe his fanbase is...

You'd think a good majority of 10+ year olds would have enough brain cells to think "weird he always seems to have problems" and fact check stuff for themselves, but I'm guessing either his audience either is hardly even in their adolescence or lacking enough intelligence to question motives... or both.

His absolute incompetence and inability to keep a schedule combined with YouTube's algorithm beginning to show more and more of his critics videos in peoples recommendations may be having an effect. I can't tell for sure, but his new video is major damage control, and the only reason he would need to make it is if he were starting to feel some major repercussions for his autism.

He said it himself in the video that when you address the drama, it gets people curious and makes them look into it. No matter how vaguely he addressed it, he did just that, and now people will get curious and look into it. Which will result in more support and visibility for his critics channels which will eventually lead to him having to address the situation again. Rinse and repeat. Eventually he will crack under pressure and do something super fucked and it will be over.

I know very well how cult-like his fanbase are, but that only goes so far. We've all seen how these things snowball before.

Again using the Fanbase of underage as an excuse to not work in the game.

Pretty much he got away by this and now til this very day he is entitled to follow his fanbase by playing & livestreaming videogames.

He's literally doing the same but in this case he wants to get more attention which will leads to patreon increase and more youtube revenue from videos he will post in a future or actual videos.

Aint a big surprise what he's doing right now ... so shame on alex for being a beta cuck in not maning up by taking own decisions.
