I hope this isn't terribly off-topic, but that "When he finishes." comment gave me war flashbacks to Team Gizka's effort to make a cut content restoration mod for KOTOR II because, while they weren't scummy enough to take donations, they were dragging their fucking feet for YEARS. It was so bad that they asked people on the forums to not ask when the mod will be finished, saying something like: It'll be done when it's done.

Then out of nowhere, a pair of modders came up with a playable beta of their restoration mod. It was rad. Then a year later, Team Gizka's site disappeared, like five years after the site was originally put up.

I think that is how Yandere Simulator saga will end. Someday, someone is going to release a yandere game that is leagues better than Yandere Simulator, something Eva couldn't possibly compete against. Yandere School isn't quite it, but there are other games still being developed. It'll probably be one of those.

Drapeis was an opportunist who ultimately started development on his game to spite Alex. Alex of course drags everyone into his drama, and as a result the infectiousness of his lolcow aura rivals even the most powerful beer viruses and infects anyone that comes too close to it. Alex has taken too long to make his game, but conversely everyone else thinks that it can be done in a much shorter time than reality.

Eh I actually prefered it if he just remake the whole game, but better and faster even of it's only to spite Alex. I just want someone to finish the game already, since I actually like the concept of "Dating sim gone wrong" stuff with some animu tropes parody (which Alex unfortunately took too seriously).
Unfortunately after searching a bit, I think Drapeis(?)...wanted to make it more "realistic" instead?
And instead of the anime tropes, we'll probably get some SJW pandering too, since MC seems like she came straight out of 2015 tumblr OC. They also seems have a better artist who offers to work with them, but she was apparently rejected in favour of the tumblr whale(I don't know if it's true, but since said artist seems to post LL fanarts/concept arts and asked people not to harrass tumblr whale I think this might be true?)

He already should remake a lot of the code. But, game engine coding as well as GPU power evolves very quickly. If he delays long enough, by several more years, he should and will have to remake the game from the ground up. There is actually a point where the engine and game code will simply become too out-dated, and either look like old garbage on release, not be compatible on modern systems, or both. Most big games get finished in 1 to maybe 3 years, tops. He's already pushin' seven years, 7 fucking years working on this sex doll sim--I mean yandere sim.
