I've been lurking for a while because I don't really have anything to add, but something happened yesterday and it just blew my mind.

I was a fan of Yandere Simulator since it came out and followed the development for years, until like, 2018. Yesterday I found out that my cousin (he's like 7) has been watching Yandere Simulator videos.

I know this is autistic but I just kind of realised then that, yeah, this game has been around for so long and yeah, it's still popular. The fanbase is still kids, the old fans have all just left and been replaced with little kids. Furthermore it made me realise how kids are getting introduced to this, and how many kids are actually going to watch completely inappropriate videos on it. It's just kinda crazy, I thought it would've faded out.

Edit: the weirdest thing by far is that there's nothing new for the new fans to talk about. FNAF kids at least had different generations, new characters, theories, etc to talk about. Yet Yandere Sim has nothing new. Young fans now know basically everything old fans knew.

There are sites that allow you to log-in and use your account even though your e-mail is not verified. But there are sites that don't. I wonder how many of the sites he is registered on are like that.
