yeah, she made one like a week or 2 ago and proceeded to show how little she lurked :story:
Ever since her outing in the field, she proceeds to bash the Farms for what we did to her on Discord every now and then. It’s nothing different than the reddit echo chamber since that is her original home.
At least she changed her Discord username. And then proceeded to leave her nickname and everything else exactly the same.

Wow. She’s still salty about it? She was nicely corrected a few times on forum etiquette and then she went the whole defensive route when people lost patience. Since she’s been doxed she’s only been mentioned twice in the thread. Both by me, as part of a recap and adding her to a list of people that were doxed. It’s not like she’s on the OP. Frankly, I still don’t fully understand her connection to either project. Cry more, Punzoo. You definitely didn’t lurk more.

She was a mod for the YS subreddit during its hacking and she also worked on Smug’s Yansim clone as a writer.

As to why she is still salty about it? I don’t know.

Ohhh. Okay. Thanks for clarifying. My mistake. She was hanging out in the Yandere Clone thread mostly so I had thought she had some connection there since she said something early on about leaking screenshots or something (? Maybe I mixed them up with nightwhisper) Good to know she was heading the shitshow of the Reddit. Good job. It’s still failing.

I wouldn’t say she was heading the shitshow, she was one of many pieces that were squeezed into the puzzle.

You know that really unflattering movie depiction of nerd voices? Like they do in the Simpsons. That's what these faggots sound like.

Apologists

My YanSim clone is going to be in 1-D.

I have a hard time considering those games. Sure, they're interactive, but they aren't really a game. What's the gameplay?? Clicking next and hitting a dialogue option every once in a while?

There are some that are more interactive, but those aren't the majority from what I can tell.

Ace Attorney games are described on wiki as visual novel/adventure. Can't deny your job is to mostly read and hitting next dialogue button; still these games are addicting. There are also games like Sengoku Rance or Alchemy Meister which are something between visual novels and strategy eroge, good stuff. If we are talking about pure VNs - well, kinetic VNs are fancy books, that's true. But in VNs like Zero Escape series, Fate/Stay Night or Tsukihime - you have a lot of bad ends to avoid. These aren't really a book, neither.

The bugfixes continue, this time with an extra dosage of falsehoods.

TL;DR - NPCs and elimination schemes get railroaded harder and Alex is starting to remove generic NPC behaviors he can't fix, Osana-specific things still broken. Game foundation still a complete disaster much like how water is still wet.

"The interface that allows you to report things to the guidance counselor now specifies that certain things can only be reported on certain days of the week"

He's seriously nullifying anything outside of his exact planned outcome for every situation. How are you supposed to be able to be creative with this shit if the game doesn't even react properly to things you might do, or outright prevents things, because they are "on the wrong day of the week".

So if I plant some form of contraband on Osana on Wednesday and go to report it to the guidance counselor I'm basically going to get a block of text that says "lol fuck you, you can only do that on Tuesday you idiot!".

Yep. This is why I said he would have been better off making some sort of visual novel. He wants to be lore heavy, but also wants everything done the exact way he wants. How he wants it done, when he wants it done, when you can’t have it done... He’s going from an open bug filled sandbox to a linear game still filled with bugs. He seems to only want to tell a story and have panty shots. He’s only going to get stricter as time goes on as he attempts to fix everything that’s broken and block any player creativity.

I wonder if this is because his code architecture is so fucked that hardcoding features to only work on certain days is easier than just making the feature work on every day.

Alex spouts this game as being a free roam blank slate character sandbox type thing, but by that he means sandbox in which you do what he wants and only what he wants
