This is just fucking stupid. Bookish Girl Has a Crush has ALWAYS been about dressing up a girl so she'll appeal to her male crush. Any other reading of it is willful ignorance.

As for Kimi, I've had that same problem in other media, I'll admit. I've found certain girls who like girls in media charming and cute...then Tumblr gets a hold of them and the character becomes nothing but that sexuality. The obsession with the character's sexuality only makes me really feel like a lot of these people don't actually care about these characters. All they draw is pictures of said characters wearing clothes they probably wouldn't wear that loudly express some sexual or socio-political feminist belief regardless of anything the character has expressed prior. Browsing tags on Tumblr now is just straight up depressing because you literally can't go more than three or four posts without someone making some post that completely discards any sense of the actual characterization or character interaction chemistry....all so they can make some 'woke' post about how the character is a trans lesbian who Hates The TERFs.

It's just uncomfortable. It's such a blatant example of projecting onto a character, except now, that's apparently what we're SUPPOSED to do with characters according to these twats. Nothing is ever digested past what they already think about themselves, they just shove it in their mouths and let it rot.

This is probably getting off topic, though, so lemme find some Woke Ass Lesbians.

I'm sure when C.S. Lewis wrote this heavily Christian themed fantasy series, the very first thought at the forefront of his mind was making this eight year old child attracted to other girls. It's true, guys, I put canon in front of it. That makes it right.

C.S. Lewis could barely write girls. C.S. Lewis had his Jesus Lion rake a teenage girl with his claws to punish her for drugging a slave as part of her grand plan to run away and avoid being raped. Canon lesbian my ass.

>nonbinary lesbian
>non-gendered girl who likes girls
>non-gendered girl
>???

Tumblr likes to pretend 'non-binary' means 'I was a boy yesterday, but I'm a girl today' rather than the actual textbook definition of not identifying with any gender. The whole thing is a crock of shit, of course, but Tumblr takes every crock of shit to a new extreme.

Eh, that one was because Aravis was a snooty bitch about that girl being lashed as punishment and didn't show remorse when Shasta told her "uhm, even if you had your reasons, that was mean from you". IIRC that book had a theme about showing prideful people that they were Doing It Wrong, and Aravis was just one of three people who got knocked down some pegs. (The others being Bree and Prince Rabadash, who got the biggest part)

Regarding this deal... I was more concerned about Aravis' best friend Lasaraleen being portrayed as a brainless bimbo for being girly and pretty and liking it, or about Susan's girliness being constantly shown as wrong - if she chooses not to fight like Lucy does, Corin says she's like an old lady; if she's seen as "the Pretty One", Lucy gets jealous and thinks of using magic to be even prettier; if she likes nylons and lipstick, these are mentioned as part of the reason why she's shallow and unworthy of going to Heaven. etc. So yea, while I disagree with you on Aravis' specific case, the rest isn't that far off.

I mostly agree with you, yes. I roll my eyes at anti-fujoshi people as much as the average witness, but there IS a bit of an element of truth sometimes behind it: some loud internet ~queers~ are disgusting fetishists in regards to non-straight sexualities. I bet you that many of these ~queerlings~ and/or ~net lesbians~ are just attention whores trying to desperately convince themselves that they are ~not like the other girls/straight~ and cover it in SJW lingo to shield themselves, and latch on their "lesbian waifus" to keep reassuring themselves that THEY'RE LESBIANS, THEY'RE NOT STUPID STRAIGHTIES, WAAAAAHHHH.

And about Lucy... LOLWUT?! Lucy was just a tomboyish girl who didn't show romantic interest in *anyone* in the books/movies afaik. So IDK what these people are on.

They certainly are... standing next to each other.

Yes but you see, it's Velma Dinkley, and she's their eternal precious lesbian despite shacking up or being openly attracted to multiple men throughout the franchise (including but not limited to Shaggy and Sam Winchester from Supernatural).

Her presence makes it auto-gay, obviously.

Ehh, I always hear that one, but I've never really bought it. I think it's because I always loved Aravis's half of that exchange.

"What happened to the girl?"
"Eh, probably whipped for sleeping late. Good, she was my stepmother's spy."
"That was still mean. :("
"I didn't do any of these things for the sake of pleasing you."

It was so unapologetic and confident, and yeah, kind of shitty, but if I were about to be forced to take some racist old Arab caricature's dick, it's exactly what I would have done. Aravis rocked.

I'll leave the sperging at that, but oh man, Narnia's shittiness is one of my favorite topics.

Wait so every time women are within a few feet of each other that makes them a lesbian couple? Oh fuck that means there has been a full blown middle age milf orgy happening in the bullpen outside my office the whole time!

Does friendship even exist anymore? Does everyone have to fuck each other in a gay orgy?

They complain about fujoshis while basically being counter-fujoshis

Gender non-confirming must automatically mean ~queer nonbinary lesbian uwu~ somehow.

Which says a lot about how regressive trans/queer ideology actually is. You can't just be a gender non-conforming girl (or boy), you HAVE to be a genderfluid nonbinary queersexual or some other nonsense. If "traditional" conservatism is the idea that you have to change your personality to match your sex, then queer/trans conservatism is the idea that you have to change your "gender identity" and possibly sexuality to match your personality.

This is an equation more complex than the Da Vinci code.

Even in a series that has canon lesbian characters, they gotta make up their own couples.
Everyone's a lesbian, even the guys. We might as well just make a "everyone is a fucking lesbian" flag.
