One of the most important parts of the movie business is trailers, because it's meant to communicate the focal points of a movie and sell you on its premise. A well made, expertly edited trailer can be an art unto itself - sometimes the trailer is even better than the movie it's advertising. Post the trailers and teasers that have made you sit up and beg for it.

This is a perfect example IMO. The build-up, the music, the one-liners, even the studio logos are timed so perfectly it gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it. If the final movie is as good as this trailer, it'll be one of the best biopics in years.

This is an amazing trailer even though it doesn't reflect the movie at all and was released before they even had a script in mind.

And I don't think the Xmen 2 trailer gets enough credit for how good it is.

It is possible I misunderstood the OP.

All of the footage is from I Drink Your Blood. I Eat Your Skin is a shitty black and white movie.

This was shot by Bob Clark the writer/director of Porky's, A Christmas Story and Black Christmas.

One of the best I've ever seen. Perhaps, the best. I use to rewatch it often, just to feel the adrenaline rush.

Agree with you, this trailer is fucking amazing. But then I watched the damn thing on the opening weekend and realized the only good scenes were the ones featured in the trailer, the rest of the film is one big boring mess.

I felt raped. Fuck this garbage.

Out of the trilogy, this hyped me up the most.

Props to 28 Days Later for making their trailer really uneasy to watch. Shit.

This teaser is about perfect for me. The promise, the hope it still brings, the memberberries of Superman and Superman II, casting an Iowa farmboy (to play a Kryptonian and adopted Kansas farm boy), the constant crescendo of William's theme music.... when Brando's Jor-el's voiceover hits at the end:
"They could be a great people,
Kal-el.
They wish to be.
They only lack the light
To show the way.
For this reason above all,
Their capacity for good.
I have sent them you,
My only son."
Swoosh, off to Metropolis.

I tear up every time.

D.C. films have sucked, even going back to this movie (and Superman III even). But that hope, that promise, that Superman feeling. It's still there. The movie was a bit of a slog and the less said of Bryan Singer, the better.

But that hope remains.
