Yeah true. But also people don't have the attention span to care if he were to say anything. Like, he can't even offer a neutral "chill out" ?

Further to that point, people care about having a supply of ALR snark way more than they care about who is supplying it. Whatever alienation felt would disappear with his next upload so they can get 11 likes on their "AMBERLYNN NEEDS INPATIENT" comment.

He does at least seem more self-aware than Charlie Gorilla who takes playing Oprah too far and seems to actually believe she's building muh community which is ridiculous because just like MBP her viewers come 99% from AL's viewerbase, which is 99% hatewatchers.

Maybe he only tried to boost that girl's channel out of guilt, like she asked (or hinted) and he was too scared/felt too bad to say no, even though he knew it prob wouldn't go well so he did it but he's not about to fall on a sword for her either? I dunno.

He's been asking people to donate posting his cashapp. First he was asking for a new camera. Then posted asking for a new computer. Idc if people ask for others to donate so they can make better videos but he has no self awareness. Why would anyone trust you with the money they send if you have been posting videos high nonstop.
I had an ex who got hurt in football and was prescribed pain pills. Within a year and a half he was snorting heroin. I was around 17, he convinced me he got robbed and needed money. I drained my entire savings account for him. Addicts will fuck over anyone so I can't imagine the amount of foolery Alex will be posting since he has an audience $$$.

I watched his 'confession' video a few times & was left thinking: a) he only posted that because he knew the info about his criminal charges was not only available here but had helpfully been linked for quick access & more importantly b) he came across to me as thinking he's far too superior to be a common addict. He was a little sniffy about the rehab he'd been to in the past & altogether a little too flippant about his past. In short, I don't think he's reached the bottom he needs to hit to really take sobriety seriously - time will tell. But sending him money for any reason now? Idiocy.
