The studio is a WotC/Hasbro subsidiary so this is probably just a dnd 4e module with a coat of paint shat out on the cheap.

I know that's probably a typo but stealth relaunching 4e as a space game would be the ballsiest thing ever, people's heads would explode.

It would generate more discussion than this dollar store ME ever would on its own, that'd be a given. I recently listened to a podcast that had Mike Mearls on where he lamented that WotC killed 4e support as part of the 5e mandate. He maintained that they could have made 5e better if they kept 4e support around to cater to the casual audience.
