"Experts" working to change the definition of death (again) - if you still trust them after the last 3 years, I can't help you

have you been drinking? You said yourself that necrosis requires amputation. Why does it require amputation? Because it's irreversible.
No, I did not say necrosis requires amputation. I said improper blood flow is why amputations occur (you don't need it to be in a state of necrotization to necessitate amputation). YOU said necrosis is why amputation
:story:
Necrosis - the process of becoming dead. Necrotic tissue - localised death. Which is why amputations occur.

No, I did not say necrosis requires amputation. I said lack of blood flow is why amputations occur. There's no requirement. You can debride a fucking area. Fucking read.
Oh, I thought you were done? :story:

Your entire body can start rotting while you are alive due to improper blood flow.. Which is why amputations occur.
We don't amputate for ischemia if we can reverse ischemia. We amputate the necrotic organs (or the necrotic cells, go ahead and explain for the folks at home the difference between amputation and debriding), that have gone necrotic due to ischemia, because necrosis is the irreversible process of becoming a corpse.

You can't harvest necrotic (ie dead) organs for transplant. When the body is corrupted, it's plant food.

>We
lol okay mr brain stoppage

You haven't had any medical training if you've forgot about neuroma amputation. If you don't know why this is related to the topic of blood flow, shut the fuck up.

wow, you must be so mad that we're taking away your access to human flesh. You even just wrote something on my wall.

For those reading along, a neuroma is a benign tumour of the neuron. They can be painful, especially on the foot. Nurse Genius here seems to imply that because we excise these painful tumours that this negates the idea that we exicise dead flesh because dead flesh spreads until the whole body is dead.

Since Nurse Genius has done such a good job derailing the thread, I'll direct us all back to the point of the OP: that transplant doctors are now restoring blood flow in order to harvest better organs, and clamping brain arteries to maintain the legal fiction of "brain death" because they know restored blood flow might revive that organ too.

Good job doing a google search. I literally expected you to do that as the information you find will not explain what I am talking about. You're a fool. Neuromas affect pericytes which control vascular (ischemia) (this WILL spread unlike the neuroma) which causes the need for limb amputation because you cannot stop the demyelination and axonal degeneration/loss in any other way. You're a dumbass.

Trust the experts, folks.

Don't look over here at the reviving of patients in order to harvest their organs. Look over there at the guy flexing his neuronal physiology vocabulary. Nevermind that he doesn't understand the difference between necrosis and necrotising fasciitis! Nevermind that he already gave a lecture about avoiding jargon. This guy is serious!

Trust the science.
