This shit baffles me, what kind of furfag offshoot is from what I gather it's these three.

Autistic lore + furfaggotry + otherkin bullshit.

What is this sparkledogs bullshit 2.0, could someone in the know explain this to me? In detail if possible.

I have fond memories as a kid of many "furry" franchises such as Usagi Yojimbo, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Watership Down, Secret of NIMH, Wind In the Willows, etc. before the term "furry" was officially coined.

Yet, somehow it has morphed from merely drawing anthropomorphic sentient animal cartoons and characters to a cursed and disgusting subculture based on a beastiality fetish that is also home to many troons and pedos (babyfurs).

I do not know how or where things went wrong or ended up the way that they did with "furries" but is it a case of the degenerates causing most everybody else to leave in disgust so now only the sex pests are the ones that are left in the furry community?

Has there been any sort of backlash among some of the furries to try and kick the degenerates out of the fandom?

There have been several attempts, but they've all failed. Furries have been complaining since the 90s that the fandom was overly (and overtly) sexual and needed to be reigned in. Look up the Burned Furs for one example. I think the anti- (or at least less-) degen furries just avoid stuff now, as opposed to openly contesting it. To quote the Godfather: "They're animals anyway, so let them lose their souls."

Its another autistic furry fad like Sergals, complete with sperging. Anything that is a closed species is automatically plagued and retarded because furries feel they have the right to rip off Disney character fursonas with impunity but copyright a made up species.

Yes, their thread is bat shit insane. Honestly it would be hilarious if some furry troll commissioned art of these closed species and spammed it at them which Im sure someone has done at some point. Bonus points if its porn of a closed species that isn't supposed to have genitals or something like that.

Even better: train a LoRA on their art so you can endlessly generate renditions of their retarded closed species using Stable Diffusion. Considering the overlap between AI Derangement Syndrome and the sort of retards who think a closed species makes any sense, it'd probably cause a nuclear meltdown in their Discord servers.
