This makes this the third content creator I'm aware of that copies Yahtzee's manner of speaking without understanding why only he can make it charming. (The other's being Moviebob and Jerry Peet.) Two more and I get a free movie ticket. (No I don't.)

Alright, I finished the OP (if I knew this required so much work I would have just made an ED article)
If you read it already, feel free to read it again since almost everything has been changed. I added whatever I found in this thread that I thought was relevant as well as some links and pictures.

I didn't look into any of the other contributors so here is a list of everyone's names pulled off of wikipedia, in case anyone is interested in doing that. (most of these people are probably not interesting but I do recognize some of the names from somewhere)

It seems like pretty much every former Escapist employee in the past few years is either a cow with a thread here (Movieblob, Sterling and now EC) or a cow orbiter/minicow like Arednt and Russ Pitts (guy who did the Zero Punctuation theme. Went ham over The Escapists handling of GG (think he may have quit over it but I'm not 100% positive) and spent his free time sperging out over it on Facebook with people like Leigh Alexander).

Only one I can think of that might not fit the category would be the Unskippable group but other than them being friends with Zoe Quinn orbiter Maya/Felix Kramer I know nothing about them or their departure from The Escapist.

I remember Scott DeWitt, he's the guy behind Fanboys Online and got heavily into SJW shit after his brother died and lashed out a lot. Nowadays he's pretty much disappeared off the internet.

It always makes me laugh because these types are all about "feelings-feelings-feelings" and then shortcircuit when they try and process that two people can have different feelings about the same thing.

Then it becomes a race to try an explain who in the argument should get the trump card.

Scott was also a frequent SA poster and nearly avoided Fanboys turning into another CAD due to the feedback he got there.

Loading Ready Run used to do decent work, I really liked Checkpoint on PATV, but I think the skeevy looking guy with crazy eyebrows went hard into anti-GG bullshit
 
The only decent things they do is their history videos, even if they have some questionable "facts" in them. James need to get a haircut and shave off that beard. It ain't 05 anymore.

Kathleen seems to be getting rather SJWish on certain issues and has made some pretty "fucking white male" comments in a couple of videos without a hint of it being a joke. A pity because I really liked those guys. They are big into magic and friendly with a lot of the people at woc so that could be a big draw in that direction.

Is it worth considering a switch from just an EC community watch to an Escapist one? I feel we got a lot of minor cows and communities out of that site apart from the obvious shining stars of spergdom that could make a decent thread when put together.

He does seem to try and stay away from any of that shit on either side so no idea. Though he did weigh in on the Jermy Hambly/THOTgate crap he didn't go all in like a few on either side decided to. He was in a video against GG around the time all that shit was kicking off but it wasn't the typical aGG "you all racist, homophobic soggykneeists".
