The Ezra Miller Saga Now Involves Vermont’s Child Services Department

Vermont officials are concerned Ezra Miller is shielding the whereabouts of a mother and her three kids at the actor’s farm, saying their “safety cannot be reasonably assured”

Police are looking to locate a 25-year-old mother and her three young children who had been living at Ezra Miller’s Vermont farm, with officials citing concern that The Flash star is shielding their whereabouts, Rolling Stone has learned.

Over the weekend, Vermont State Police repeatedly attempted to serve the mother an emergency care order that demanded the children’s removal from her care and the home over fear of their safety. But Miller claimed the family hasn’t lived there in months, which the Vermont State Attorney’s office said seemed like an attempt to “evade service” of the order, according to the court document obtained by Rolling Stone.

It was during one of these visits to find the mother that Miller was served a citation for a burglary charge for allegedly breaking into a house and stealing several bottles of alcohol in May.

Several police cars arrived at the property on Tuesday night, according to photos reviewed by Rolling Stone, as a local source confirmed officers were at the house for nearly an hour. But it is not clear if officials were at Miller’s property over the emergency care order or another matter. It was also unclear if anyone was removed from the home. (A spokesperson for the Vermont State Police department referred a request for comment to the Vermont Department for Children and Families, who declined to comment citing confidentiality.)

State police had turned up to the sprawling Stamford property at least twice over the weekend in an attempt to serve the mother the order requested by the State Attorney’s office regarding the care of her three children, aged one, four, and five, according to the court order.

In June, Rolling Stone reported that Miller had been housing the family since mid-April after they had met the woman and her children in their home state of Hawaii in March. (Miller is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.)

Sources had raised alarm bells over the children’s safety, claiming there were unattended guns lying around the home and alleged they saw the one-year-old put a stray bullet in her mouth. (At the time, the children’s mother said Miller helped her escape from an abusive partner and the “ranch has been a healing haven for us.”)

But based on a DCF caseworker’s affidavit, the State Attorney’s office had requested two emergency care orders over the past week that sought to transfer legal custody of the children over to the state.

“The Court concludes that remaining in the home is contrary to the child’s welfare because: The child’s safety cannot be reasonably assured if the child remains in the custody of the child’s parent, guardian or custodian,” the order states.

The order notes that police had been trying unsuccessfully to serve the order “all weekend.”

“Miller, the owner of the residence, advised that Mother and the children had not been staying there for the past two months,” the order reads. “This contradicts information [the DCF caseworker] presented to the Court in her affidavit as Mother was posting on social media in late July 2022 that [the case worker] recognized as the inside of Miller’s residence.”

The mother had been active almost daily on Instagram, posting quotes, selfies inside Miller’s home and snapshots of the property, before going dark on social media around mid-July, with her account seemingly deleted.

A hearing is scheduled for the matter later this week. A rep for Miller did not immediately reply to Rolling Stone’s request for comment.

It’s been a bumpy week for Miller, who was charged with felony burglary after allegedly breaking into a local resident’s home and stealing several bottles of booze in May. Police said in a press release there was enough probable cause to charge Miller after reviewing surveillance videos and collecting statements. Police noted that Miller had only been served a citation for the charge on Sunday. Their arraignment is scheduled for September 26.

Concerns about Miller’s ongoing behavior has seemed to reach its peak, with all eyes on Warner Bros. to see how the studio will handle the situation considering they are the star of its upcoming DC Comics film The Flash, scheduled for a June 2023 premiere. The company is in cost-slashing mode after its merger with Discovery, which already saw a nearly finished Batgirl canned entirely.

For now, it seems the studio is reluctant to make any major decisions regarding the film, as it has been testing well and Miller was involved in additional planned photography over summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Miller has not spoken publicly about the multiple allegations that have stacked up against them, apart from an Instagram story in mid-June that read, “You cannot touch me I am in another universe.” They deleted their Instagram account shortly after.

In March, the actor racked up a string of arrests for disorderly conduct while vacationing in Hawaii. In June, Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle went public with allegations that Miller had “groomed” and “brainwashed” their 18-year-old child Tokata, a well-known Standing Rock activist, who also uses the name Gibson. (Tokata, who uses she/they pronouns has since denied a string of allegations against Miller, instead accusing their parents of “emotional and psychological manipulation.”) Weeks later, a Massachusetts mother obtained a temporary harassment prevention order against Miller on behalf of her 12-year-old child.

Deadline and Business Insider released investigations on Miller soon after, which contained allegations of Miller allegedly harassing a woman in Germany, interviews with the woman he was seen on camera choking in Iceland, and close friends detailing their “fear” that the actor was out of control.

FFS, just kill this guy. Dude is so unhinged he needs be put down. So many innocent people are getting killed every single day but sick insane fucks like him can wreck havoc as much as they want. Hell, no one even has the balls to beat him up for being a violent monster in public. Why??

The fact that the authorities failed to do anything about this guy despite the multiple opportunities to do so is inexcusable. If they had just gotten him sooner none of this would be happening.

Police are so retarded in this case. They definitely need better training about how to handle these freaks once he is arrested.

He's part of the Rainbow flag people so police have to deal with him in a certain way due to PR. If they do the wrong thing they could see riots again by people who think sexual orientation still matters in 2022.

He’s also rich and famous. Those people are above the law and get away with much more than the average person could. Look at a recent example, Daniel Johns lead singer from Silverchair was in court recently because he drove his car down the wrong side of the freeway while drunk and caused a semi trailer to crash and slide down the road on its side at 100km/h, seriously injuring the driver. The judge said he “better serves the community outside of prison” which translates to you’re too rich and famous to mingle with scum. If that was you or I we would be put away for a long time.

It's pretty aggravating how he hasn't even been arrested. He's been charged with actual crimes, but for some reason they can't detain him? I thought they couldn't catch up with him but it turns out they're serving him paper orders at his home. I can only guess it's because they want to skip the song-and-dance where he just posts bail and ends up right back out terrorizing the world.

Now, there's this....

Damn Zoomer kids cant even follow a propper cult leader. Why back in our day we had Cult Leaders that were Magnificent Magnetic Monsters. Manson, Koresh, Jim Jones, Sun Yung Moon etc. They knew how to do a Cult right.

This pale weasel wouldn't even qualify for membership in the self castrating Comet Cult in the old days.

Warner Bros. Weighing Fate of ‘The Flash’ as Its Ezra Miller Problem Grows

The studio ponders three paths forward for the expensive DC film, with a worst case — if unlikely — scenario including the project being scrapped.

The fate of Warner Bros.’ The Flash hangs in the balance as actor Ezra Miller continues to make headlines for their controversial behavior and various arrests. An outright shelving of the film is not off the table, though it would be a last resort.

Warners — and its new parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery — had hoped to avoid the line of fire, because its big-budget DC superhero tentpole isn’t scheduled to hit theaters until June 23, 2023. But the pressure is mounting by the day.

On Monday, the actor was charged with a felony burglary, and on Wednesday, Rolling Stone reported that Vermont’s child services department is attempting to locate a mother and three children who have allegedly been residing at Miller’s farm in the state.

A source with knowledge of the situation says the studio appears to be preparing for three possible scenarios.

First, Warners has received indications that the 29-year-old Miller, whose mother has accompanied the actor in recent days, will seek professional help after returning home to their farm in Vermont after being away. If that help happens, Miller, who goes by they/them pronouns, could give an interview at some point explaining their erratic behavior over the past few years. The actor could then do limited press for The Flash, and the movie would open in cinemas as planned.

The second scenario: Even if Miller doesn’t reach out for help, Warners could still release the film. But don’t expect Miller to play a prominent role in terms of marketing and publicity. Nor would Miller be The Flash going forward, as the role would be recast in future projects.

The third case: Things go from bad to worse, with the situation with Miller deteriorating. This would see Warners killing the movie outright, as it could not be reshot with a different actor. Miller plays multiple characters and is in almost every scene. Scrapping a $200 million film would be an unprecedented move.

All of this comes amid change at Warners. Earlier this month, newly minted Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav stunned Hollywood when shelving Batgirl, a $90 million movie made for HBO Max. Unlike The Flash, there was no individual controversy involved; rather Zaslav opted to take a tax write-down on the project and pivot away from making streaming films for DC.

Miller was cast as The Flash in 2014, the same year a solo The Flash film was announced. The development process has been long, with multiple directors coming and going over the years until It filmmaker Andy Muschietti finally got the project off the ground. The film also stars Michael Keaton, back as Batman for the first time in 30 years, and Ben Affleck as a different version of Batman.

Miller began their time as The Flash with cameos in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, both released in 2016, before having a main role in Justice League a year later.

The Flash is a key film for Warners, as it is expected to chart a new course for the DC Extended Universe. The film has been testing well, even as Miller’s legal woes continue to mount.

Earlier this week, word broke that they have been charged with felony burglary for allegedly stealing bottles of alcohol from a Vermont home. According to a police report posted online, Vermont State Police were notified May 1 of a potential burglary when residents on County Road in Stamford, Vermont, reported that “several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present.” Following an investigation that included taking statements and reviewing surveillance videos, police found probable cause to charge Miller.

The latest charge comes after Miller was arrested in April in Hawaii and booked on suspicion of second-degree assault, per the Hawaii Island Police Department. The incident reportedly occurred when Miller was attending a get-together at a private residence and “became irate after being asked to leave and reportedly threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old female on the forehead,” per police.

That came on the heels of a March arrest on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at a karaoke bar in Hilo, Hawaii.

At least one project has already distanced itself from Miller. On Tuesday, the Salvador Dali Biopic Daliland left Miller out of its press release in an announcement about its debut at the Toronto Film Festival. The actor plays a young version of the artist in the project, which stars Ben Kingsley as an older version.

Despite the arrests and headlines about Miller’s alleged behavior, Warner Bros. Discovery chief Zaslav said last week that the studio is committed to theatrical releases for a number of DC films including The Flash.

“We’ve seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better,” Zaslav said of DC’s upcoming slate, including The Flash.

CAA, which represents Miller, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

In short, justice be damned and long live social justice.

This isn't gonna end well and frankly at this point it's society's problem not solely Ezra's because too many people have either enabled this cunt or dug their head in the sand singing "la la la".

You got to give it up to Applewhite yeah his cult was small but any dude who can get men to chop their nuts off is a hell of a salesman.

Also 2 of the members are alive and maintain the Heaven's Gate website which hasn't changed since the 90s.

It's a nice piece of internet nostalgia just because of its design and layout.
