So apparently WB's determination to protect Miller at all costs might be having an effect on other DC movies. Apparently pre-sales for Black Adam [starring The Rock] aren't doing very well.

People haven't forgotten that hollywood is full of sex pests. Practically the whole planet knew that long before "me too", the shit was basically an open dark joke that had been worn out. Me Too got buried when it became a slapfight/power struggle over who got to be the face of it, and a certain couple who were both shitty to eachother had one of them just make shit up and get called out publicly(depp/heard)..

Yeah some idiot will probably defend some hollywood producer on twitter, the reality is most people just won't give a shit about Miller because they're fed up with the clown show this rich idiot spent years getting away with. Black Adam weeks from release but is tracking $70 to $75 million opening in America . Tracking could go up or down, but right now just under Venom and biggest opening for a Rock staring movie outside Fast movies but bigger than Hobbs and Shaw. If DC can get the $750 million box office Hobbs and Shaw got they will be very happy.

DC won't be harmed by this outside Flash losing money, not being able to make follow up movies using the events from it and not using the character for a while even if they did plan a recast.

Ezra Miller shot a day of pickups last week on the Warner Bros. lot for the standalone “The Flash” movie, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

“The Flash” is expected to reset Warner Bros.’ DC movie timeline and set a new stage for DC films going forward. According to an insider with knowledge of the project, the film has been testing positively.

Miller and their agent met with Warner Bros.’ film heads back in August in what TheWrap has learned was described as a “very positive” meeting about the future of the upcoming DC film “The Flash.”

Inspired by the landmark comic “Flashpoint,” the film will see The Flash travel across various multiverses, encountering other versions of himself as well as a version of Supergirl from an alternate timeline.

Miller and their agent Scott Metzger met with new WB film executives Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank to discuss the film, though no other details about the meeting were disclosed.

Miller, the embattled star of “The Flash” who has drawn national headlines for a series of troubling personal events and attention from law enforcement, previously announced they had entered into treatment for “complex mental health issues” and apologized in a statement to media about their recent behavior.

“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” the statement said. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

Warner Bros. has not deviated from its plans to release “The Flash” in June 2023, with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav reaffirming the studio’s release plans during the company’s latest quarterly earnings calls.

Even if this is true, considering the state of both DC and Marvel overplaying their hands with over excessive superhero movies, I highly doubt anyone will care for a movie about The Flash. Especially if it’s done by a sex pest who essentially finessed both the victims and real life allies of people that entrusted him because he repeated the pronoun ideology with LGBTQ+ members.

He managed to weasel out of this, but his career will be already imploded by the time it’s all said and done.
