Well, probably in the EU and Australia, mostly. Not in the USA, since the PROTECT Act has been considered unconstitutional, but if it did happen in there... Does that mean F-List has hosted actual real life "cheese pizza"?

if youve hosted any sizable website with user generated content, you've almost certainly dealt with CSAM at some point - most likely by absolute fucking losers who simultaneously report you to the fbi for shit they themselves uploaded. i hosted a fairly large community (5k+ DAU) at one point and one part (of many) i divested of it was that there was simply no way to handle this without either a large moderation team or some sort of id verify.

if youre handling this much UGC (including image uploads), for an erotic site, and you're running a business, then you're basically de facto forced to have some sort of approval process for all uploaded assets (or at least, heavy moderation coverage).

so anyways, has f-list hosted csam? almost certainly. in fact, i think at this point, it'd be a tougher question to ask if they haven't. the real test is if the mods lit the uploaders up with an FBI tip. im sure null has had to deal with something similar, and it's part of why i simply watch all this drama from the sidelines and enjoy my 9-5. dont think you could pay me to do a large, anonymous community again lmao. it's not worth it for so many reasons

anyways, barring any sort of bombshell at this point, my (boring) take on this whole thing is that bad dragon is facing the moderation issue. the admins/mods they let go were most likely unpaid, and for various reasons, may not be eligible for hiring. or, BD may have their own trusted staff. im sure attitudes of these ex-mods around certain themes (ageplay/bestiality) are a part of it, but i can easily see this house clearing as "normal" business for an operation like this. there will probably be rules changes as well, but i dont really know or care to figure out what is or isn't allowed on f-list. probably something along payment processor lines, as mentioned earlier in this thread

The bigger concern in my mind would be less hosting and more it being an avenue for pedophiles to connect with like minded individuals and distribute shit, and then whether or not the mods/admins are part of it.

I am 100% convinced that it is used in that manner, and the admins and mods are closing their eyes to it unless you make it really, really obvious.
There is a rule against IRL stuff but once you're in private chats you can easily exchange telegram or signal details.
