The Federal Aviation Administration is actively recruiting workers who suffer “severe intellectual” disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

The initiative is part of the FAA’s “Diversity and Inclusion” hiring plan, which claims “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.”

The FAA’s website shows the agency’s guidelines on diversity hiring were last updated on March 23, 2022.

The FAA, which is overseen by Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s Department of Transportation, is a government agency charged with regulating civil aviation and employs roughly 45,000 people.

All eyes have been on the FAA and airline industry in recent days, after a plug door on a Boeing 737 Max 9 blew out during an Alaska Airlines flight on Jan. 5.

The FAA grounded all 737 MAX 9 planes after the incident, and is carrying out an “extensive inspection” and maintenance work.

The FAA added it would increase its oversight of Boeing following the incident, including auditing Boeing’s 737 Max 9 jetliner production line and companies that supply parts to the airline manufacturer.

Following the incident, social media commenters and public figures have charged that airlines and airline manufacturers’ emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives has made flying less safe.

“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety?,” tech billionaire Elon Musk wrote on X last week. “That is actually happening.”

“The DEI Rot In The Airline Industry Is Way Worse Than You Think,” Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh wrote in an op-ed last week.

Critics of such commentary have pushed back on the argument that prioritizing DEI has made traveling less safe, with civil rights groups slamming Musk, for example, for the “abhorrent and pathetic” tweet.

On the FAA’s website, the agency claims that people with “severe” mental and physical disabilities are the most under-represented segment of the federal workforce.

“Because diversity is so critical, FAA actively supports and engages in a variety of associations, programs, coalitions and initiatives to support and accommodate employees from diverse communities and backgrounds. Our people are our strength, and we take great care in investing in and valuing them as such,” the FAA states.

When asked for comment on the initiative, including what roles people with disabilities would fulfill, the FAA told Fox News Digital that the agency thoroughly seeks and vets qualified candidates “from as many sources as possible” for a range of positions.

“The FAA employs tens of thousands of people for a wide range of positions, from administrative roles to oversight and execution of critical safety functions. Like many large employers, the agency proactively seeks qualified candidates from as many sources as possible, all of whom must meet rigorous qualifications that of course will vary by position,” the FAA said.

Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, chairman of Do No Harm – a group of health care professionals, medical students and policymakers working to “protect health care from a radical, divisive, and discriminatory ideology” – told Fox News Digital that similar to the medical field, the aviation industry has an obligation to protect its travelers.

“The aviation industry has a responsibility for traveler safety just as the health care industry has a responsibility for patient safety. These responsibilities outweigh other factors when considering applicants to work in those fields. People with disabilities who can successfully complete the task should never face discrimination,” said Goldfarb, a retired professor and the former associate dean for curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

“Unfortunately,” Goldfarb said, identity politics is “creating opportunities for so-called oppressed groups by lowering standards for entry into those fields and thereby endangering the safety of those which it’s designed to serve. Some endeavors simply do not lend themselves to identity politics,” he added.

The FAA’s website outlines that some managers can hire disabled people and veterans through an “On-the-Spot hiring process,” providing required documentation is submitted.

The FAA also details that employees with disabilities will be provided “reasonable accommodation” on the job.

The overwhelming majority of FAA rules and regulations are written in blood - someone died or was horribly maimed and the reason that caused it was a slightly undefined form of negligence that was then added to their very extensive list of shit you will get screamed at then summarily fined for doing. I imagine whoever greenlit this decision realized that their pencil pushers were running out of minor variations of incompetence to write about what not to do, and so opened the flood gates for such a sweeping array of schizophrenics and retards to make further ridiculous mistakes to guarantee the bureaucrats' careers in manual-writing by having more and more new and absurd posthumous infractions to document.
Tax dollars at work.

Listen, I think tards and crazies who legitimately want to contribute to society and make a semi-living for themselves should be better integrated into the workforce. But there are better places to put them than in situations where even minor mistakes can have dire consequences, not just for people in the planes, but for people on the ground as well. It's almost like they want to set up the tards and crazies to fail, for whatever conspiratorial reason.

To give an idea of how little it takes to cause an insane emergency, the pilot of this plane got partially sucked out during flight because the repair mechanic replaced a window using screws that were only a millimeter too short:
Now imagine some retard or heavily medicated and dazed schizo not properly locking a door, not properly following a safety procedure, or some tiny fucking thing that compromises the integrity of an aircraft.
I'd have to really look to find it, but I remember a case where a plane crashed out of the sky and everyone died, because the guy cleaning the plane covered the sensors with gray tape instead of red tape, forgot to take the tape off afterwards, and the guy inspecting the plane later couldn't see the tape. It does not take much for even a non-tard, non-crazy grunt worker to completely fuck things up.

Probably this one, maybe others: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeroperú_Flight_603

The only way this DIE shit is going to get better is once its victims start getting avenged. And hiring a 60 IQ ape to blow up airplanes with 200 people on them is a great way to ensure that happens.

It's like my grandpappy always said: the only thing CEOs love more than money is not having their skulls caved in with a baseball bat by a grieving father. I always thought that was a weirdly specific maxim, but I've recently come to understand it.

instead of protesting and resisting, turn the dial to 11 and beat them at their own game.
"Hmm, i see your quotas have reached their original goal, but this picture is missing something, i don't see any downs syndrome, no downs mechanics, no downs flight attendants, no downs pilots. This is not true diversity, my son/daughter/cousin/whatever is downsy and they won't feel safe or included until i see 10% downs representation".
When they raise any objection, no matter how slight or logical, scream their own buzzwords back into their faces. They either give in, ceding narrative control and looking even more psychotic than they already do or they refuse, demonstrating that there are in fact lines in the sand, opening the door for other lines to be drawn, or redrawn.

Jesus tapdancing Christ in a chariot-driven sidecar
Now imagine some dysphoric tranny triggered by the existence of a pretty ticket agent he'll never be able to compete with stealing a plane and kamikazeing into those heckin' evil cispeople's houses for not using his pronouns.
Looks like Elliot Ching Chong may get his chance to be a commercial pilot after all

I used to think my fear of flying was irrational but now? Completely and totally justified. I don’t blame the retards and apes for wanting to follow their dreams but I for sure blame the airline’s Human Resources departments for not giving pause and thinking: “Well, perhaps having a mongoloid at the controls or designing critical aircraft systems isn’t a bright idea even though it makes ME feel warm and fuzzy on the inside”.

When shitty Boeing products designed by retards start suffering catastrophic failures in air and the nigger pilot at the helm throws his mitts up in the air and hollers “SHhhheeeeiiitttt! Tha fuck imma do bout it?! Dis shit s’pose to fly itself mothafucka!” just before the aircraft crashes into a neighborhood of recently arrived immigrants from Venezuela; then and only then will anyone start doing anything.

Until that point, I’ll take my chances on Amtrak.

I don't want to glow post, but if there's one positive that might come with the third-worldization of the USA, is the ability for angry people to get their hands on things like a Stinger system. When the elites are the only ones going around on airplanes, all it will take is a few enterprising psychos looking for vengeance. I'd prefer it not have to get that far, but this is going to get a lot of people killed.
