It never ceases to amaze me just how much Chris blows up over totally inconsequential bullshit.

When you consider all that's wrong in Chris' world right now, him complaining about this is like a drowning man complaining that it's raining.

i am so sorry to hear you are upset, chris.
a cartoon on the television that is designed to sell toys to pre-teen girls should totally conform to your whims...

Just wanted to put that out there.
It's amazing how Chris still thinks that everyone has to do what he wants and when he wants it, even though he holds no power whatsoever.

In the first controversial episode, Pinkie Pie deals with the challenges of teenage pregnancy, apparently.
I wrote half a post before realizing that you were talking about the art style.

I like how even Chris thinks cloppers are sick fucks.
Even Chris has standards. They might be low, but they're there.

But only because he gets pissy whenever someone dares view what he sees as his own personal hugbox show in any way he finds intimidating

Officially Turning the Ponies HUMAN?!! That is just terrible! WTF are they thinking;

That maybe the fringe of creepy, infantile, manchildren in the show's adult fandom do not have a monopoly on what a show for preteens does with it's characters and plots

they're inviting High School Pedofile Perverts into the fanbase this way.

Chris you have repeatedly wanked your tiny bent pickle off to MLP and furfaggotry, not to mention your ultra creepy use of real life people in your hand drawn porno

As is the horse enthusiasts were not enough.

ibid

If they really wanted to bring humans into G4, they would do best to replicate the G1 Pilot with Megan and her family.

Not everyone is a dickless manchild sperg trapped in the 90s Chris

I am still mixed-up and not sure about "Transformers Prime" going "Beast Wars".

Im sure a cartoon changing its story is extremely taxing on your tiny autistic brain Chris, but i and every other 7 year old at that time was able to get over it just fine, so why dont you?

And I do like a High School Drama when it's good

You mean when people yelled "Sonic is dead!!!" at you and threw pennies?

like "Daria", "MTV's Undressed", "O'Grady" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch".

Sweet Wotan chris, get over Daria and move on already

High School Drama for My Little Pony?!! They ought to re-air Generation 2 with "My Little Pony Tales".

Chris seems not only to be the first brony, but the first hipster brony

With due respect, Lauren Faust, Tara Strong the rest of the crew are Out Of Their Minds in turning the Ponies Human! Just Invite Megan, or re-air G2!

Im sure they will immidiately change all their plans when they find out another obese and incontinent autist is whining on the internet about them

While Chris's explosion over petty little cartoon horses is amusing and confusing, I'm slightly more interested in seeing the stupid :ween: shares on Facebook going "Wow Chris, you still give a shit about ponies? Make more Sonichu" and whatnot because they still think he cares or even reads them.

Five bucks says Chris still goes to see the movie, buys at least one of the dolls, and jacks off on her face.

It would be hilarious to see Tiffany or one of his other gal-pals return to his life, saying "Um, Chris... no one gives a shit about MLP. We all have jobs and husbands and kids and haven't thought about pony cartoons for over 20 years. It's really sad that this is still your life."

I have to admit the idea sounded odd to me, but it was pretty much in the "weird. Now why should I give a damn?" way.

Chris on the other hand defines his life in terms of TV and vidya so it's not surprising he's upset by this development. If your life was being changed by TV executives and marketers wouldn't you be thrown for a loop?

Yeah, it's a movie. And Chris certainly is butthurt about this for all the wrong reasons. The are plenty of reasons to hate this, but Chris highlights none of them. Our Pet Lolcow won't abandon the show and he'll most defiantly watch the movie and write about how much he hated it to fit in with the cool kids.
My guess is that he'll love the movie, regardless of whether it's terrible or not.

This is a fantastic example of what separates a well-adjusted fan from, well, Chris. There are some shows I really like, to the point where I might joke that I "obsess" over them. But if they start venturing in a direction I don't care for (and it's happened in the past) I'd talk about it with some fellow fans and then decide to either embrace it or admit that the show and I have gone in different directions. Either way, it doesn't take away from the enjoyment I got from the show in the first place. But Chris... Chris not only can't process the change, he has to take it personally, and assume the show is failing him because they're not living up to his expectations.

It's extremely naive to think that MLP is really designed for thirtysomething basement dwellers. It's batshit psychotic to think that it's designed specifically for you, Christian Weston Chandler

There seems to be some pattern of this in Chris's thinking. If he likes something for whatever reason, everyone else better like it for the same reason - if they like it for a reason that Chris doesn't get, then they are just wrong and he will let them know how offended he feels.

God, he is so invested in this pony shit. Just goes to show how empty his life is when you take away childrens' cartoons.

not even "cartoons", they're just feature length toy commercials

I don't think the damn pony show needed to exist in the first place, let alone some kind of half-pony half-high school girl beast spin off. What a load of colorful crap.

Yeah, also, they look BLOCKY and LOW-RESOLUTION
