I really don't have much to add here about Chris himself, except that yup, he's still watching media aimed at individuals at least two decades younger than him(?). It is nice to see him happy about something though, even if it's a cartoon.

The question mark is there because I'm pretty sure the humanoid pony thing was a response by Hasbro to the new market opening up for bronies (any clarification here?), so its target demographic may have shifted quite a bit.

At the risk of being rated autistic, it was originally designed to be a response to a series called "Monster High" that basically is offspring of movie monsters in high school. So Hasbro wanted a piece of the pie and made their own "humans with a weird trait" dolls. Strangely enough, now it's doing better than Mattel's, partially because Hasbro doesn't try to come out with a new toy line every two months like Mattel does and has consistency in art styles and et cetera.

This isn't for bronies. It's actually for a niche audience of young girls that think they are "too old" for ponies and want humans because humans are what grownups watch. I read somewhere that Hasbro doesn't try to really market it to the adult fans, as the adult fans tend to prefer them as ponies. It's kind of like the MLP version of Beast Wars in a way.

He actually hated and raised hell about Equestria Girls until he gave it a try and it became his 2nd favorite movie of all time.

Just wait for next month. If Chris is willing to forgive humanoid ponies, he's gonna reverse his stance on BLUE SONIC ARMS.

Pretty much this. Is there anything Chris has been vehemently against that he ultimately ends up doing a complete 180 and tries to become its biggest supporter once he indulges himself in whatever it is?

Well, other than pickles, healthy eating, and any concept of being responsible with money, of course.

The Hexbox. He did claim it was OK to impress Jackie, but given the recent Wal-Mart debacle it's clear he didn't mean it.

Until he got drunk that one time, he was very much against alcohol. He's not a big supporter or attributes a lot of worth on it, I guess, but still, he did a 180°.

Yeah this, Hasbro make cartoons to sell toys, it's the same with the Transformers franchise, they don't care who is watching it as long as they are selling lots of toys.
