Nobody was sperging about MLP but a dude came in and said he was involved with the brony community. he probably has some good stories that would provide some laughs. jokes and stories should not be illegal on the cwicki forums

He was initially super opposed to Playstation.

The reason he didn't like Playstation initially was because it was a direct competitor to Nintendo and Sega. When he found a PS at a garage sale for a super low price he changed his mind, started playing and never looked back. Since Sonic wasn't on PS yet he didn't miss out on anything.

I really hope he's able to afford to see the speech and meet her. It could provide some solid entertainment.

I think this is the first time Chris hasn't added something like "it'd be an honor to meet them but an even more honor for them to meet me, the creator of Sonichu". Like he actually might understand that this woman doesn't know him already.

I've met Temple Grandin a couple times and I can tell you she would be absolutely disgusted with Chris, and the shitty way he was raised. I guess that's kind of an obvious statement...but having actually seen her reactions to my anecdotes of dealing with spoiled autistic kids...yeah. Chris would get no sympathy from her.

And if he were to meet her I think he would end up feeling offended. She often comes across as standoffish and harsh--due to her autism--and I can imagine Chris being huffy about it later, thinking it was a personal affront to him. Rather than, you know, a byproduct of the same condition he has. And that theoretical misunderstanding might also be attributed to Chris's autism.

Alternately, he would just hang in the background like always and then think everything went hunky-dory. You never can tell with him.

But either way, my opinion of what Temple would think of him is very strong!

He would expect her to fight his trolls for him, same as he does everyone else he hero-worships.

Also, she's chosen to spend her life celibate, hasn't she? He might feel offended by that because she's "spreading" the joke of abstinence or something.

Yeah, I can see that! You've certainly dealt with Chris enough so yes.

IIRC, yes, she did choose to be celibate. And I've only met her twice (the more recent time was an extended meeting though), but based on my perception of her, both in person and from second hand accounts... She would probably tell Chris (in a straightforward, no-nonsense tone) that he needs to take responsibility for his own issues and learn to be functional.

So mayhap she would be lumped in with the trolls and bullies, too. Or he'd say that someone deliberately misinformed her.

All speculation of course. And that's if he would even have the chance to speak with her!

Yep. An important thing to remember about Chris is that any IRL hero he has will eventually become a blood enemy.
