Yep. An important thing to remember about Chris is that any IRL hero he has will eventually become a blood enemy.

That's because any attempt at connecting with people creates friction with his fantasy reality stress. That's one of the reasons he tends to avoid them.

IIRC, yes, she did choose to be celibate. And I've only met her twice (the more recent time was an extended meeting though), but based on my perception of her, both in person and from second hand accounts... She would probably tell Chris (in a straightforward, no-nonsense tone) that he needs to take responsibility for his own issues and learn to be functional.

So mayhap she would be lumped in with the trolls and bullies, too. Or he'd say that someone deliberately misinformed her.

All speculation of course. And that's if he would even have the chance to speak with her!

But I can't see how they would have an opportunity to meaningfully interact.

I think this is the first time Chris hasn't added something like "it'd be an honor to meet them but an even more honor for them to meet me, the creator of Sonichu". Like he actually might understand that this woman doesn't know him already.

Agreed. He will most likely sit in the back like always, but if he did have an opportunity to talk with her I imagine he might try to say some stuff about the trolls and sonichu, etc. But that was speculation on the off chance he were to speak with her for a few minutes.

They say you shouldn't meet your heroes, because you'll discover that they're not the perfect people you've imagined and you'll be disappointed. In Chris' case, he should never meet his heroes because they won't consider him to be the perfect person he imagines himself to be and he'll be blangry.

That's par for the course so far as the big CWC is concerned. I recall he didn't back down from the Wallflower even after she told him she hated him and never wanted to have anything to do with him. Chris is both unable to pick up on signals and stubborn as a mule when china is on the line.

He saw her once for sure, or at least he said he saw her IRL at least once. Personally, I'm getting to the point where I'm wondering just how many times does Chris have to have a fake girlfriend before he gets it... like at least he's asking to meet in person or bust, but he's not even getting kisses or hugs or anything from these "girlfriends". Most relationships, even long distance ones, have hugging and kissing and other intimate activities. As it sounds, he met her once, talked on the phone (maybe?), and emailed her. That's it. And it sounds like it wasn't even daily contact, more like weekly... So how does Chris explain this to himself? I know he has expert skills in mental gymnastics, but damn.
