Team Fortress 2 Classic, the mod, not the GoldSrc game. He was the first person hired onto the TF2C dev team after the project had been founded, according to Wikipedia.

Daniel and Pelpix used to e-date. Maxx, one of the guys mentioned, did an exposee thread on Facepunch in 2016, exposing their relationship and posting some screencaps of phone chats between Daniel and Pelpix where Daniel was reciting the lyrics to that "Daisy, daisy, give me your answer, do" song, in a rather creepy fashion. Apparently Daniel had flown to Pelpix's location to either kill himself or her on her front lawn. He was busted, arrested, extradited back to wherever he's from, and nobody knows what he's up to now.

I saw this post on TroonOut's thread about us and to me, it sums up why the Source community in general is so fucking terrible these days. The trannies have taken over and forced out anyone with a slightly differing viewpoint to theirs. So many creative people who were working on great things were attempted to be shoved out of the community by force. So many people have had the community turned against them because of troon propaganda campaigns telling others that "such and such is a terrible person because they said something that I interpreted as transphobic, so don't support them or use their work or even discuss them or promote them or else you're a transphobic piece of shit too".

The faggot poster in question is Sonador, a seemingly unknown person compared to the rest of the general fuck-pile of TroonOut's faggot users, who happens to believe he is a raccoon when in reality he is just a person who needs therapy and medication. And in it he lumps us all together as just a bunch of people stuck in 2009, calling us goons and channers. I'd rather be one of us than a retard faggot who thinks he's a raccoon.

At this current juncture, TroonOut's thread on us has once again been revived thanks to a large shit-dump of tweets from that DropKiwifarms autistic on xitter. The general discussion in the thread though has turned into an HRT-fueled suck'n'fuck amongst the users in an attempt to make themselves feel better about their terrible life situations.

One cool fact about the Indian/Pakistani rape gangs in the UK is that most of the victims are actually Indian/Pakistani girls. When Labour governments cover up these rapes they are enabling the rapes of these girls in the name of anti-racism. Of course, the narrative is that these men are targeting white girls (they are as well), so we should cover up this rape crisis in the name of anti-racism, lest we rile up far-right populist sentiments.

Its amazing how Knockout embodies the brain rot of progressivism so well. They are the exact people who would cover up these rapes of *mostly* brown girls to fight racism if given a position of power.

How long until they just remove all ratings, since they all can be used sarcastically, which is life-threatening to the recipient. Replace them all with just a single "This post made me click a button" rating. Nice and neutral.

Oh wait! No! What if someone makes a dumb post and gets a lot of those? That's dogpiling and no good. Better remove the whole forum tbh

Didn't Facepunch do this for some forums late in its life and just have a "Starred" rating because all the specific ones upset people too much? Or was that early Knockout? I can't remember.

The star rating does sound familiar, but I'm not sure what that replaced or when. I do remember late in FP's life they changed the dumb rating to "box" because people were getting too upset about being called dumb. Funnily enough box turned into meaning the same thing and people still got upset. They also turned off ratings in the politics/news sections.

I always love catching up on the latest from this place. The dissociation from cause and effect never fails to amuse. I wonder if they will ever have their eureka moment. What do you all think? I am feeling doubtful. Sad to see such potential of a site wasted.

It has been years but I think you are thinking of the winner rating. IIRC that was the only one that was not to be used sarcastically. I am past forty now so this is about the clearest recollection I can provide.
