Fallout 76 General Thread - Bethesda does it again!

"What if they targeted a kid playing that was struggling with their identity? What if they said all those things to someone that was playing solo and didn't have anyone to talk to? That can really mess someone up. Playing a game to escape reality and then that happens," they said. And while Fallout 76 players can permanently block others, AJ said that's not good enough.
What a fucking bunch of whimps. Instead of telling them "Oh yeah, being called a fag in an online game is serious shit and can ruin your life!" why not go "Just call him a moron and be done with it"? What a generation of limpdicked, slack-jawed faggots is this, that being called a queer upsets them this much?

I mean, sure, Bethesda can punishplayers for using slurs, that's within their rights, but for everyone to treat this akin to a hatecrime? Come the fuck on. These losers would have been eaten alive in the good old days of gaming and be spat out as hardened shitposters that don't get their knickers in a knot the moment someone uses mean words on the internet within minutes.

And I just love that there's a "if you don't fight back, you take less damage" anti-griefing mechanic, what the fuck is that about?
Why even play this game if you need a way to opt out of encounters with other players?

He played the game to escape reality, and reality came and swung its dick right in his queer face.

The virgin twitter report, the chad directly-contacting-journalists-to-say-you're-not-sorry.
From the Chad article:
"It was just a late night of having fun and after the first encounter (seen on my channel) we felt it would be fun to offend them somehow. You can call that evil but I think it's just playful immaturity," he said. "I do not regret the incident. I will not apologize, given the opportunity. I don't plan on doing anything like this in the future but to be fair I didn't plan the initial incident, I just found them and decided to go through with it."
Honestly Bethesda should be held accountable for this since virtual smear the queer is the only way anyone can have fun in this shit game.

Also, saying "the game is only bad if you have no friends" is an :autism: argument.
That's always a good one, right next to "You gotta make your own fun!" Isn't that basically like jackin' off? Like imagine you go to a prostitute looking for a decent hump session, you give her your money, she takes it and says "Sorry, babe, but you gotta make your own fun!" and then walks out of the hotel room.

Keep going, then tell everyone who called out your piece of shit for what it was, that they're Pro-GG Donald Trump Voters.
I don't think that'll work, considering that Donald Trump's younger brother, Robert, is on Zenimax's board of directors.

So it turns out people did get canvas bags -- youtubers whom bethesda paid to shill the game

I think i am one of the rare few people in the US who actually got a refund for not only the game, but the collectors edition at that.

Unfortunately i seem to have missed out on the potential lawsuits from doing so :story:
Eh, you got more out of the refund than the payout.

The highest payout I've seen was $60 per person.

Holy fucking shit, I knew netimmerse/gamebyro was old but they've been using the same fucking engine for 16 years?!

That thing has to be a monstrous beast of spaghetti code and utter insanity at this point. I'm surprised they can even get the thing to work still. Well, it doesn't really work, but you know what I mean.
